Files down? PM me :-)

I upload here the database about 1-3X per month. Should I forget or you wish a fresh update send me a PM :-)

Note: I made the file 5MB big, so i get points. I do that because I bought a account from scdb.info, and I share those free with you. There is 1 RAR file inside which you can delete. Hope that is OK so for you.

Google Earth KMZ:

What is SCDB?
-SCDB means "Speed Camera Data Base"
Its a Database from installed speed cams on the road in many countries.

On which device works those?
On every TomTom with every Map. (It must support OV2)

KMH or MPH?
"Blitzer 30kmh" means in UK 30mph and so on.

What means "SC"?
SC means Section Control.
It record your car Number and Time, and some kilometer away again. Then it calculates the avarge speed.
More here: Anonym zu en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPECS_(speed_camera) ([Only registered and activated users can see links](speed_camera))

How to install them?
Just copy all the files to your Mapfolder on your TomTom. If you make a update just overwrite them.

How do I set POI warning?
This is very easy... Well it takes about 5 minutes.
1. Start up your Tomtom.
2. Select "Change preferences"
3. go to the next side and select "Manage POIS"
4. select "Warn when near POI"
5. Now select "Blitzer 100kmh"¨
6. Enter the distance you wish.
7. Select Warning Sound
8. Select "Warn only when POI is on route" YES
9. Continue from Step 4 with a other speed cam.

Here are my favorite settings in kmh and Metric:

130kmh-->700m
120kmh-->600
110kmh-->600m
100kmh-->600m
80kmh--->450m
60kmh--->350m
50kmh--->300m
30kmh--->250m
traffic light->250m
Tunnel---> 500m
Variable (V)-->500m

Please note: SpeedCam POIS are not allowed in every Country!
Drive allways carefully! Drive over limited speed is forbidden and dangerous!
Mobile Speedcams are not included, and there are also police cars on the road!

Do these cameras work for mobile versions of TomTom - I have 7.9xxx on my HTC Touch Diamond and placing the files in the maps folder doesn't give me any new POI's to use???

EDIT - Just put all the files from the English folder directly in the map folder rather than in the map folder in the folder they came in and all seems good. Thanks!
