I had bought the earlier version :suicide:, not commiting the same mistake this time though.

But i have a query before installing the 3.5 cracked version, will this render my actual transaction invalid :afraid:, i.e., will the app register against my original key or will it be a cracked key!!!

Am i really at a loss if it install it anyways...

i knew few friends of mine with omnia and they tried this new version and said that it's not working properly, but i'm not sure if they did uninstall the old v from the phone before, so that's wahy i'm asking u, if this might be the correct way to work properly on omnia!!!???

From the official User Guide:

"To enable the 3D Email viewer, tap and hold the Email widget to view the Default Action option, tap it and select Open 3D viewer."

It doesn't give you an option to install it on SD. It goes directly to main memory.
What makes you thing that it will work smoothest running from SD. In theory main memory is faster than external I think.

In addition its definitely a step up from graphics and interface however definitely has slowed my phone down, bogs down about 1x daily where it locks up and i have to reset.

tried on samsung i780 square screen doesnt work well like other previous version even with app realVGA :(

very laggy.. slows down the whole phone by quite a bit.. using touch pro 2

Im glad im not the only one. Its actually got alot of great features, just too dam slow and v3 was much faster.
Being laggy is one thing but it keeps locking up so hopefully they will resolve such bugs soon even though it was just realeased.
Its got huge potential though.

and can it work on wm 6.5 latest builds????? The ones with the buttons at the bottom????? I guess not.............

regarding spb mobile shell freezing up issue -


if you don't hit the close or ok button (if u one doesn't mappped it to `close') , it doesn't freezes and if one has to return to the `home screen' or back, simply go by pressing the shortcuts provided by the spb mobile shell at the bottom left or centre of the screen, it doesn't freeze up, if it freezes, simply touch the start menu , go to programs or settings or select anything and close it, come back to the the main spb shell home screen it is active again.

Works pretty good on HTC Tilt! I love the graphics. The battery draining is a concern but I think I will keep it for a while. It helps to have an extra bettery if you use your phone a lot durring the day.Thank you!

Unfortunately in my opinion this version is very buggy and not tested well before go public.....
First there is the problem that freezes the whole phone. Once it disabled my phone, nobody could hear me.... I could only use it again after uninstalling it.
Then there is this issue of battery drain. I have seen it drain 10% of battery in one hour!!! I know that touch hd has not the best battery around but after testing this software for a week and now few days after i have uninstall it, i can really see a great difference!
So, in all for me this is quite buggy. It urgently needs major bug fixes plus energy consumption fix!

I am asking this becouse SPB Shell is not draining any of my battery at all.

Hello :) I am using the original English ROM (ROM: 1.56.405.1(43972) 03/06/09 WWE) from HTC with the original drivers.
I agree that with other ROM(s) and drivers the program could have worked in a better way. If SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 was designed specifically for wm6.5 then i would agree with you that we shouldn't criticize it like that. But, i have checked the SPB site and program's specs, it is designed from wm5 to 6.1. So, to sum up, in my opinion it should have been tested with normal ROMs and normal drivers especially from a wide selling brand like HTC.
That is the reason why I am saying that it is not tested well and I am sure that SPB will launch a new version fixing most of these bugs many of us report. My issue is with the high drain of battery it causes some times. These times, you can see the CPU of the phone to be hot (which implies the battery consumption) for a long period of time.
This specific phenomenon at least in my case wasn't happening at all times but sporadicly.
I hope I explained my thinking even in more detail :)
EDIT: sorry i forgot to say I am not using Touch FLO at all.

do you have option of 3d acceleration in settings of spb shell ?
if yes then enable it you may require a reboot and reflections will be seen ..

but if there is no option in settings of spb shell then ur phone does not suppport this feature

The sms carousel works fine - for incoming message. BUT, i can't find how to send new sms from the carousel. I need to set up 2 same icons. One is to view in carousel, one is to have the normal screen where i can send new sms.....:egdance:

I realized I was using SPB Mobile 3.1 instead of 3.5!
Now I do not have the battery problem.....
Of course to be very certain that it does not eat up my battery...I switched off the "Weather" widget and "Animation", basically trying to keep things simple.

Now im using it full time...simply luv it! :wave:

When you say 'shutdown' what exactly do you mean? It is not in the today plugins......is there another way to shut it down?

Touchflo isn't really shutdown when u just disable to let it load on the home screen sorry for the missunderstanding. tf3d consists of more parts theres the bigone (homescreen, small ones like phonecanvas and volume rocker.

I just disabled the homescreen but leave phonecanvas and volume rocker as is. Also what i think makes a big difference in bat use is wheter u use the 3D drivers or not, i do. I use a custom NLD rom and SPB Shell. Thats about it...

Sick program!! but does anyone know how to change the default SMS and Contact program? I'd rather use Vito's SMS-Chat and Fun-Contact.

It doesn't let me install it in my storage in my Samsumg Onia i900.Anyone else who tried it?I had the 3 version but now it is unistalled by this program.

Something is wrong with the new version in my omnia.I uninstalled it,cause it kept freezing and i had to hit the hardkeys to keep it going again.Its a pity!

Mine always froze amongst other issues hence why i reverted back to the previous version, straight away no more issues, much faster etc.
I guess its just not meant for some phones, mine being a HTC Touch P3450.
It did have some great features just crap performance on my phone.

check out prevoius posts u have a hell lot of keys.

for freezing problem after pressing the "x" button, try install SPB Pocket Plus then change the settings to add SPB program as exception to the close button. It works for me. No more freezing.
