Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.4.102680 (Aug 13 2009)

GPS Navigation Software for Windows Mobile based PDA/PNA devices and Smartphones featuring stunning 3D navigation with outstanding graphics of buildings, landmarks, and entire cities. This version has been extracted from iconX G400 PNA device and as usual, it has been patched to work both on PDA and PNA devices as well.

UPDATE - Nav N Go iGO 8 R3 series - v8.3.4.102680 (Aug 13 2009)

- New branch of R3 PNA series, patched to work both on generic PDA & PNA. As well as the previous release, this one is patched to work with the Generic WorldWide license. This release includes some new features such as Driver alerts.

Note:
1. if u have old igo8 - delete all on card and copy all from this rls, then copy only igo8.exe to program files and overwrite

2. if u dont have igo - copy all on card, then copy gpstmc.dll, igo8.exe and sys.txt in \Program Files\iGO8

for omnia you have to put this into SYS.TXT..if you have igo8 folder in my storage/igo8

yeah tried that and seems to work, thanks :) only thing is, i need updated UK maps, i have the 2009 one but i put it into my omnia and iGO8 says it's out of date.

anyone got a link? i've been searching for ages :|

you have to use iGO 8.3 content (maps...) and not 8.0. That's why you're getting error.

A tip for you who might get an error msg that says something about it can't load 320x240 something. Use OLD data.zip then it works fine.

after few seconds when i'm navigating to a destinator the backlight of the screen goes off what's wrong?
As program works really good but i have only this issue....

Go to Settings > Device Settings > choose Backlight always on :goodluck:

yes i know this method but when i want to close any application i have to press the power button .When i ' m running destinator everything is fine so i guess the problem is somewhere else.Do you have this issue too?????

Im not sure that I fully understood! :)
Try one more thing, add these lines to your sys.txt:

backlight_day=100

Hi, I've got a problem :
I've download the update, and when I launch Igo.exe on my kaiser, it says that it failed to open file : igo\240_320\loading.bmp and it exit application.

-My Igo.exe is on my SD card \storage\Igo8\igo.exe
-my sys.txt : [folders] app="%SDCARD%/IGO8
-my data.zip \storage\Igo8\data.zip
-my branding \storage\Igo8\branding.zip

Where is the file which indict Igo must search my 240_320 in IGO folder ???
have you an idea ???

Loading.bmp is located in igo8/branding.zip/ui_igo8/240_320. Check whether you have this last folder or not

Hi all from greece i use IGo on HTC HD (higher definition 800x400 so other version) but am now trying to put the correct version for 600x480 on a Samsung Omnia that runs on greek win mobile
so after I changed the text on sys for "my storage" the message "sd installation not detected" or something appeared and crashed
any ideas i am using for sure version 8.3.2 etc
dont know the omnia so well has a garmin card sd 1gb but internal 16 gb
needs some tweak any idea??

Hi all,

Thanks for the download :wave:

I copied the iG08 directory in my SD card, and gpstmc.dll, igo8.exe and sys.txt in a new folder \Program Files\iGO8.

I run iG08 from there and my HTC Pro 2 states

"Program application database connot be found. Please insert original application SD card"

any idea ?

resolved problem !!!
I've found my treasure on this page : [Only registered and activated users can see links]
download this file : NEW DATA ZIP-iGO8 V8 3 4 102680-MULTIRESOLUTION.rar

and replace data.zip by this new !!!

Hope it can help other !!!

Hi!

I have some problems getting this to work on my new HD2 and is just wondering since this is an update, which version shall i start with? And then to get up to this version?

I just used my old SD card and started iGO from there but i can't find any GPS signal, so my guess is that i have to start over again...

I had to reinstall an older FULL version first, then this update and don't forget to remove the system.ini file in the save folder before starting iGO!

Thanks for your advice ! The GPS signal function is solved, now I have one remaining issue:
The navigation stops after some seconds on my PNA after going on the planned road. I can see the opening screen of the PNA. (exits automatically from Igo 8.3 without any error message...)

I see you use a PNA device, you should visit more often this section:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Delete sys file, maybe it has a setting there. Or check it for this.
