Sorry if this has been asked before.
Is it possable to wipe off the system in your cars built in system and load tom tom into it instead?

If your built-in navigator has WM-based OS _like PNA devices) - probably you'll manage to put TomTomNavigator74xx/7910 into it.

Tom tom has loads of problems with voices and freezing your probably better to use Igo8

thats a matter of opinion...for win ce devices tomtom is quite reliable and has one of the best gui's in the market.Garmin,Navigon and Sygic are some of my favourites although I do love whats possible with igo although its perhaps wiser to learn on the others as the igo in its full blown modded versions does have a fairly clumsy interface that isn't particularly intuitive to first time users even if it does have some of the best screen displays available...

as igo is one of the few platforms that uses elevation data its a joy to use in mountainous areas where you see not only the direction of the road but also the ground rising and falling on each side as well..at some point I'll have to upload a utube clip of it doing its thing as it is quite impressive to see:exactly:
