I heard N900 doesn't support MMS.... What the? With all it's media hype about how powerful, fast, reliable the N900's features are, Nokia couldn't even include MMS in it? Heck, even the low end Nokia fone comes with MMS!!! Oh well... I guess I have to wait for the next one.... Maybe N1000 will come with MMS? :-0

You are not wrong...
Because it is a "full real" Linux, full Linux has never needed a MMS support (because it was only OS for PCs), but as every Linux distro we can expect MMS application as soon as more people get their N900.

Thanks for verifying my doubt.. Now we all know what to expect when the N900 is launched in the market... I'm thinking of upgrading my N82 to Samsung's i8910... It's a symbian 60 version 5 OS.... I checked the specs and I kinda like it... Maybe that will do for me till Nokia comes up with MMS installed in their Maemo OS...

N900 out on the market from 10 november!
The only dissapointing is that there arent many apps or games for now.
The developments will create many apps depending of the sales on the market.
More maemo devices ,more customers , more money...
Hopefully theres a big comunity of user who support open source.
I am happy that ipmart start an threat for this device so quickly!!!

If you have a really old phone and want something new and exciting, then get the N900, I've read a lot of good reviews usually giving it a solid 7/10 on average, there are still a few issues which is always going to happen with any new phone. The N900 runs Maemo 5, but Maemo 6 is due next year, I'd personally say just hold onto your money and wait for a newer Nokia/Maemo device in 2010 if you have a good phone now. My main worry is that Maemo is still quite new, so will there be enough software for it?

I've got a feeling 2010 will be the year of Android and Maemo might struggle to establish itself which is why I think I'll wait, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is looking incredibly powerful and out in Feb 2010, and the same with the Google Nexus One which might be out very soon. I have an iPhone 3GS (its a good phone but not perfect for me, so I'm looking for a change) and N82 but those Snapdragon processors on the Google Nexus One and Xperia X10 are really turning my head.

Install Koffice from extra-devel to open excel, word and powerpoint documents. It' s free but be careful because it is still in development.

Im using it without any problems for about a month.

Do you guys know how to take a photo using n900 secondary camera?

This is a bit tricky question, because at this moment there is no special application for making photos with front camera. One option that I know is to install application Health Check where you have camera test.
