It supports only 3510, 6310(i), 6510, 8310, 8910. With others there are lots of problems. There are also problems with unlocking new versions (like 6310i 5.10, 8310 5.57...)

cheap flasher can only do all DCT4 phones except 7650/3650. get griffin or AFD!

any body try, downgrade like 6310i then unlock successful ?
last month I downgrade 7210 and phone get contact service .
is this the problem of down grade a locked phone ?
still need griffin to fix it .
is there any new solution for cheap flasher like software update ?

And you can use the normal flashfiles with griffin :)

Griffin box is still the best, but it only using wintesla MCU/PPM flash file not *.FLS so we can modify the firmware. like dejan dongles (Cheap flasher). I already have one and now im waiting for my griffin gold. With griffin you dont have to worry about dead phone, i mean if your phone dead after flashing with griffin, flash it again and again until it works again.

Cheap flashe is as it's name says Cheap. No support. No upgrades. built with cheap crappy parts. what more do you want from it... Most people do not want to spend 100's on griffin or lp2000 etc etc. people want everything for nothing.

if you need to flash a 7210 7650 etc etc find someone what will do the job for a few quid and save some money.

everybody sez griffin is the best dongles right now..... I'm agree with that... but one thing that i wanna know, who made this box and the country that the box originally come from? some sez china, philipines, etc.... I read somewhere in the nets that griffin box is Made by Bulgaria, is it true??

Other sez that original box has SID after activated, but I have 3 griffin box (2 plastic and 1 gold alumunium) 2 is activated and the gold one is waiting for activation code sent to me. But the 2 activated box don't have SID...... it just v2.40 EFBA serial number and words: ACTIVATED BOX.

What is the truth about this amazing box????
Can someone explain it? is my box; plastic and gold is fake or original?

i think the original griffin is made from verry thin cast aluminium. at least the guy that was trying to sell me one a few weeks ago said it was made from metal and thats how to tell if it's a clone or an original. No idea as i do not have one but the website of my normal phone hardware supplier says it`s made from cast alluminium. but i have seen sites selling them and the pictures thsy show it looks like a cream plastic box. !!!

well lucky me..i got one with replacemnet and with support...thats why i am askin up to what level can this cheap eqpt work...

the real story is plastic ,Gold or aluminium are all original and the real owner is a bulgarian he call a factory in china to product the box in plastic and the workmanship salary in china is cheaper ....


Plastic = Make in China (Cheaper)

Aluminium = Make in Euro ( expensive)

so how much is the base price of a griffin eqpt?

Only up to 7210/6610! Also you will lose all the default ringtones, games and wallpaper after flashing!

Hi, there is no difference between the plastic ,aluminium, gold or platinium. It's just the diffrence of box version. Plastic Griffin is the very first version of Griffin box, then glod and platinium. For a original box. no mater which version u are having. As long as u upgraded or activated them all, they all work the same.
Difference?? Plastic looks cheaper, Gold looks Class and Platinium looks Elegance.

By the way, to make sure that u get an original box. Is to buy from the reseller at the respective place. Each country has thier own reseller. Try to check that out through the Griffin webpage. And when u buy the box, a username and password should be given to u to access to the official support side for downloading files or update. And they are no diference in the outlook or shape of the clone and original box. Just the price!!
