I am using a N8310. What software can I use to backup my flash data ? If can, is it possible backup the flash data from other N8310 later MCU version and flash it to my phone ? :shock:

it is dangerous to flash our phone at home ? will the phone suddenly explode or catch fire ?

I have flashed over 100 phone and not one has exploded.

As yet there is NO DCT-4 Tool that can backup flashes.

Even if you could backup ur DCT-4 Flashfile it would be very risky to downgrade ur phone.Downgrade can destroy ur phone!

There's no problem of downgradin ur DCT-4 Phone if you make small "jumps".E.A. 8310/NHM-7 6.04->4.XX will cause "Contact Service" and a fatal checksum error that can't be repaired by level 3 or 4 Nokia repaircenter.Service Bulletins always say "Use newest Software etc."

Sometimes you have to downgrade ur phone to unlock with some flashers.

Remember: If you downgrade DCT-4 only make small jumps.

Never downgrade to ver 3.XX when ur currently using 5.xx or higher... u will get coruppted IMEI data and product code...

I kill my 8310 before... This is an advised...

if you try to flash your phone, flash it to a newer version not an older one if you want beter performance of your phone, newer version is modified already by the manufacturer coz they know already the deffect of the older one.

upgrade phone it's better byt with phone simlocked newer version stop the possibility of unlock, ( i try this with 8310 by orange, with never version impossible to unlock)

the version 5.55 and more is impossible to unlock via cable on most software encountered on internet,so use bwinlock with dongle,unlock all or use dct4 calculator to all ...

I just accidently downgrade a 7210 from 4.18 to 3.09 and it comes out contact service. Is there nothing I can do to fix the phone? It is not my phone and I am really stress out right now.... Can anybody help me?
