STEPS IN CREATING YOUR OWN COSTUMIZED FLASH FILE

1.) First of all make a back-up flash of the phone. make at least 2
2.) If you want to make an additional menu with shortcuts to other functions in it, do it now...use g3n0lite v1.7...if not then skip this part...if you dont know how, learn yourself(thats what i did)...ppm reading is hard..and values varry from phone to phone....
EXPERIMENTATION NEED!!!
3.) Change or add tones.....use PPMEdit v1.0a
4.) Change the Fonts....use PPMEdit v1.0a.....after editing, you can save those for future use..
5.) Change the Languages....after editing, save them for future use....
6.) Changing the bitmap of battery icon or signal icon (optional)
7.) Changing the location of battery icon or signal icon(optional) e.g. moving it up or down..
PLEASE MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOW, if you want to move the position of the battery/signal icon
or if you dont want to....for your convenience, save a copy of the "MOVED BATTERY/SIGNAL icon" and the "UNMOVED BATTERY/SIGNAL icon"...be sure to label(rename) them so that you
wont get confused....
8.) Change the menu animations or anything you wish to edit....use FLSEdit by Joox.....
Make sure you make back-ups of everything you edit.....
9.) Adding slideshow....use g3n0lite v1.7....pls save the "SUMMARY OF OFFSETS"...then -fix all checks- then save file......This slideshow would be accesible by menu or submenu depending
on how youve made your "adding additional menu" in procedure #2....if you have skipped #2,
then slideshow is only accesible by entering "SIMCLOCK" or *#746025625#......
10.) Editing the slideshow....use poodriver....remember the "SUMMARY OF OFFSETS"? use those numbers...the decimal ..not the hex........EXPERIMENTATION NEEDED!!!
11.) Adding moving signal bars (NET STRENGTH)...use g3n0lite v1.7....choose -net strength- ,
patch, select animations(style), copy "SUMMARY OF OFFSETS"......-fix all checks- , then
save....pls use a different file name...name it with 8_net if it has 8 frames, 5_net for 5 frames....etc...you get the idea....REMEMBER,IF YOU HAVE PATCHED IT WITH NET STRENGTH, IT
CANT BE UNDONE...so better have a back-up copy without net strength....
12.) EDiting the signal bars (net strength)...use poodriver....just copy the "SUMMARY OF OFFSETS"
of the net strength log.....EXPERIMENTATION NEEDED!!!
13.) If you want to add fading lights, use NFADER v1.4.... does not support 5510,3210 ???
pls correct me if im wrong....
13.) And finally, Use CHKFIXER by joox.... to correct MCU,PPM,EEPROM checksums...THATS ALL...

you have to choose the font or browse for your saved *.pef file

U cannot use the full backup files to modify the flasher.
Just backup the file to 3d.
Try it. :wink:
