Here's Keep Groovy
This little app allows you to retrieve information about the song playing in NanoGroove to save a copy of the song locally.
It therefore reduces consumption by avoiding Data download every time the songs you often listen to.
The output file is in the format Artist - Title.mp3 and is located in the folder Groovy memory card.
In my tests, the majority of songs, the tags are read correctly.
However all the files is not tagged the same way and some of them can not (currently??) Not be treated ...
There is a mixture of tagged type ID3V1, ID3V2 and variations which are difficult to read.
It is also possible that you get strange characters in file names, it comes from the encoding used for tags that varies succeeding files ...
Compatibility:
Normally all the VGA and WVGA.
Requires. NET CF 3.5
Instructions:
Start NanoGroove then start listening to a song
Wait until the entire song is loaded
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Keep on launch or Switchers Groovy
Click Copy Song
Wait for the message box indicating either the success of the copy is a problem (~ 5s Mostly it depends on the speed of your memory card)
If the software problem Tag allows you to create the file manually by entering the name of the artist and song title
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
To see the copied file in the folder Groovy go on the memory card (they are directly visible in Windows Media Player will not need to move)
Hope you'll find it useful
See you,
Franky
