If the version of destinator 7 is working on touch 1 (which i guess it will) together with an older map, i don't see why this map wouldn't work.
It is the latest map it should work with any pda with destinator 7 :)

Hello, i am a bit confused.

Which one is the latest NGI map after all?
this one v.3650??

i have a v.3850 and v.4800 for quite a while now.
Aren't those newer than v3650??

For pdas i can guarantee this one is the latest. This map is downloaded directly from MLS I can surely say there is no newer version. Now concerning other versions (for other devices) i have no idea.

What the hell? I installed it in my Dest 7 running on a HTC HD2 and it cannot calculate a route for vehicles (it does absolutely nothing). It calculates a route for pedestrian only! Any ideas?

This obviously has nothing to do with the map itself. There is a feature on destinator where you tell the program to function for pedestrians or vehicles.
You have to set it to vehicles :)

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Vehicle routing works well for older than 2010 maps. For 2010 maps I can only do routing for pedestrian... That's why I think it's map related (maybe something with the roads to avoid?).

hm...know I understand what you mean.... I have noticed that indeed there are different choices in each map concerning the things to avoid. I have also noticed that there is no choice to avoid the country road but I have no idea why this is....it's a question for NGI.....
Nevertheless for me it works perfectly without any problems.....
What is your device?

An HTC HD2 (Leo). The problem is very strange. It doesn't display any message (like "cannot find route") or anything. It just displays the hourglass and then, simply, nothing. No error but no route as well, like I didn't instruct it to route. It's the same with v3642 of the MLS map. I did a search but nothing. I presume that the problem is with the avoidances, since pedestrian mode (which has no roads to avoid) calculates a route. I came up to a destcore.dll for the new MLS maps, but I cannot find it anywhere...

Are you using the version of destinator I am pointing on my first post?

I'm using exactly this version. I downloaded D7 from there. Routing works perfect with the "built-in" maps of that version (always considering how old these are) but not with the new 2010 ones. :suicide:

Anyway, since noone else has the same problem, it's obviously my (and only my) problem, so let it be.... iGO and Garmin work sufficiently. No NGi maps, but sufficiently.

Hm...ok it is good to know the version you have. I will try to reproduce the problem in order to track it down since I have all 3 previous versions of the maps.....

I have made several tests with 3 maps. I have concluded that the latest two (of 2010) have an issue with the streets or places to avoid. For some reason the avoidance roads are not working as they do on the 2008 map.
I have also talked on the phone with MLS and even though they said that today there is no such issue, they indeed confirmed that at some point such an issue existed on the maps. So, they advised me to pass by an MLS shop and check my device (which is impossible ;) ).
Nevertheless I don't have up to now any routing problem (even though the latest map is not extensively tested) and I couldn't in any way reproduce the problem you seem to have. :(
If i find anything more than this I will let you now ;)
