i am trying to set up a repeater mode, on two wireless tenda routers ( which have the capability to do so), but unable to do so successfully.

i have connected one to the modem, set wds mode to repeater mode, scanned for the second ap mac found it and saved it and rebooted. the second wireless router, i have again scanned for the first ap mac saved and rebooted. also on the second router i have also disabled the dhcp. i have let wireless encrp disabled and have both routers to the same channel.


this does not seem to work for me am i missing something? thanks

have you set a static ip on the 2nd router that has the same segment as the first router.

no, if the first router is set to 192.168.1.1 you need to set the second router for example 192.168.1.50
