Hello friends I am in a problem with my pc please help me...............
I 've 15'" CRT Monitor Brand-CMS
Here is my system information-
System Manufacturer z945c
System Model z945c013
System Type X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 7 GenuineIntel ~2400 Mhz
BIOS Version/Date 022409 - 20090224, MotherBoard Version: ZX-I945LM4 Ver: 1.5 BIOS SIZE: 4M Date: 02/24/09, 2/24/2009
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)"
Total Physical Memory 1,015.48 MB
OS Windows XP

& My Monitor is 15" CRT Monitor CMS Brand
My Graphics Card- Built in Intel(R) 82945 Express Chipset Family

My problem is my monitor support 1024*768 Resolution (it is the Highest)
But now it showing me 2048*1536 Resolution but if I select 2048*1536 then monitor turned off that means my monitor does not support that resolution so why it is appearing??? It only show the supported resolution(Only 1024*768) in earlier time(before 2-3 days).
Here is the screen shot of my Display properties-
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Which my monitor support last

[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Which showing me extra resolution not supported by my monitor

Generally Windows XP give a option to hide refresh rate which does not supported by monitor in Display properties but now I can't use that option because that option became hidden!!!!
Here is the screen shot-

I don't know why I am facing this!!!!
I reinstall Windows XP (Clean Install)
I also tried with Windows 7
But same problem!!!! I assure you all that I ve installed latest version of my Graphics Card Driver which I downloaded from Intel Website,I also tried old version of that driver which was given by moterboard but same problem!!!
I connected my monitor to other computer (same as my configuration) & that system shows me that my highest resolution is 1024*768 & don't showing me extra resolution & I also got the option to hide my refresh rate which my monitor does not support......
I also added here my Display properties & System properties which I collected by following- Run->dxdiag

i think you have conflicting drivers

the images are from windows driver
see if you can find driver-settings panel of the driver you got from Intel , you must use that one
if not , un-install the drivers you installed , and see what the windows driver does
also , you can try other drivers
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
just remember : un-install previous driver before installing a new one

because you have a CRT monitor
unlike TFT monitor , CRT can use different resolutions
the driver cant read your monitor , so it uses standard CRT settings .

just use resolution you like , [ 1024x768 is allready high for a 15 " ]
refresh-rate make not much noticeable different

even if your monitor could use higher resolutions , your GPU chip could not handle it
