i have a nokia 6100 , the phone dont play melodys but vibra ok and i can make call and listen another person . the service sound's ( keypad beep) are ok . where is my problem . i just can listen melodys and sounds !!!

the buzer is locate in the bottom ?
if so i just do that , maybe the buzzer is destroyed !!

if after trying to fix the buzzer n u still gotthe same problem.. try to change your uem..

otherwise.. reflow or change the buzzer ic

I think thats software problem. If no vibra no sound it possibly hardware problem, so try to reflash with new version

noting just replace audio ic the problem is solved

if still got the problem, then sell it and buy a new one.....is a final way to go.

i had the same problem with my 6100 no sound only vibra but i could head the keys beeps.It was not the buzzer it was from the main board.It is not the uem.This problem can not be fixed.My adivece is to sell it quick.That's what i did

try change the ringer/buzzer ic if ur buzzer and lines is good... i fixed lot same problem.. :wink:

blow or change N150 (the small ic below UEM)

just wire the contacts on the phone to the contacts on the buzzer that will solve it... 100% guaranteed--- i did it... hehehe

yes, i have that problem when i was using the that phone. so i sent it to service center. They repaired it, ask them what's up. They just told me upgrade the firmware, thats all.

a bit risky no?
