Hi, I tried to unlock a 3650, and after that I get startup failed, contact the retailer, after that I flashed the phone and got startup failed again, tried then to unlock I received communication failed, I have done others 3650 without problems

until command AfpOK, just disconnect phone from box. Power ON the phone and make format user area manually.

try flah mcu ...c3 by manual ! swicth on manual untill nokia logo show up ! try it's.....!

use SAS format user area then unlock 100%work

I have tried everything you said but same results, I can't format manually because startup failure appears and can't do anything in the phone, I format user area with the box, it shows OK but when I restart the phone it shows startuo failure again, and can not unlock it, shows

I think your cable has been modified where the resistance from BSI to Ground is 68K and serial to BSI is 3.3K.
Since you can power on the phone, there is no need to get the adapter.
After the flashing the phone, try to disconnect the cable and switch off griffin and on again,then try unlock or do what ever you want.
If the format user area didn't work, then use 3650.fia as ppm file to erase user area. But you must get 2 files to upload to the phone after erase process.
First,3650 pm files to enable network signal. Second, sim rebuild for wd2 to unlock simlock.

Actually, if you have download the latest installer 2.082 in this forum. The pm file for your phone is included.

Has anyone solve this problem yet? I have the same problem too. 3650 Startup failed. Flashing and formating is ok but the problem still there. I tried erase with fia files and load new pm files into the fon still the same. I cannot unlock the fon too. Is there any other way to solve this?

Do you try to unlock then set the lock code to default 12345?

Ok, theres my prob. My 3650 hang at the NOKIA logo. So no matter how I flash it stills hang there. I tried the C3 and C4 but always halfway flashing it gave me errors and stopped. So I tried using the erase.fia files and place it in ppm and flash. After that I flash again with C1 end up startup fail. I load the good pm files from griffin yet still the same. Whatever I do its still startup fail. Unlock, flashing, set factory all OK but startup fail! Its driving me nuts.

The error occur due to your process during flashing.
Nevermind with that kind of problem, cos it can be solve.
So , did you have this files with you?
3650_erase_flash0_flash1_flash2.fia
3650_erase_LFFS.fia
CCSErasePMM.fia

This file function to erase all the firmware and the network setting ,eeprom....everything

First, you flashing the phone with those files as pm accordingly.
Then Insert the the desired ppm file for network.(bare in mind, make sure the firmware you want to flash support the product code in your ppm files, else you will have 4x blink.You can check it by looking in the xxxxxx.ini(product_code) which is in the nhl-8 folder)
If the firmware didn't not support it, change the product code .
Also make sure there is triband (800MHz,1800MHz,1900MHz) network frequency in your ppm file so you will not encounter any problem with network signal. Check also the product code in the ppm file.
After all caution taken, then start to flash the phone. This process will flash completely.
Use sim unlock rebuild
Then unlock it and format user area.

Your phone should be working....

The solution propose is tested more then 10 times, and is work!!!

then I do a full flash NHL103421.C1 & NHL103421.35. Its successful but yet still I get phone startup failed. This is where I stuck and I dunno what to do next.

Try use Griffin v2.081 & FIA 305 hopre this one can help you...if not work's try pass it to me then i do for you... GOOD LUCK MATE!
