Hope somebody can help.

I recently got a 7600 on 3PAY (Pay 'n' Go)

Unlocked it only to find 2G sims don't work.

S in the manual it says that there is a menu option to switch between 3G and 2G however 3 (the provider) has disable this option.

So I thought that I could enable it with my Griffin.

But when I try read the phone it come back with invaild response then lists some nokia models to try however the 7600 is not listed there.

But as griffin can now read and send *.pp files I managed to actived the menu this way.

So I was wondering if this was normal that griffin cannot read the phone or is it the software cannot handle the 7600 yet.

I've also got this same problem. First of all I can't seem to get a FFactorySet done on my 7600s. Just results in "FFSet LM set FAIL".

I've also tried downgrading to 4.03 and using 'Full Factory Set after flash', but without that missing menyoption appearing.

Last I've also tried the alternative to put a new Phone Menu file on the phone but as you said, one can't choose 7600 as model. Doesn't seem to detect it's such a model.

So I'm still not sure what to do
