I am newcomer for this tool, and have the problem in my hand for 6600
after installed some application become contact retailer appear on the lcd
i have flash it, do some full factory reset ,format user area and fail. so the problem is still there and i do manual formatting by pressing key 3 * and green dial but the result is same. did any body here can help solve my problem. or sharing to me who have facing this problem before.

yes i have press and hold that keys and lcd show formatting but after aprox 30 % the procces not continued. I let it till the battrey empty about 4 hours. i did formatting by griffin more than 10x but after aprox 60 % always fail. did any idea for solve my problem????

I have contact retailer at 2 pcs. after flash but i reflash with 4.21 version and make format user area without full factory reset.

Power on then hold the 3 keys? (Green, *, 3) or hold the 3 keys first then power on? Simcard need to be in the phone?

it can be done with out sim card also

Before u touch the hardware try combo flash first then format user data in local mode.

Then pls use COMBO flashfile!!!!
Thenpls reflash with normal flash file!!!
Thentry to format user area!!!!
Then all done I hope!!!!

I also faced same problem with 6600 . I tried this fullerase first, but the problem is, if you use fullerase file for flashing, at the end of erasing, it
showing error, and stop flashing.The phone will become dead. then if you flash with normal file there will be power in the phone but the phone is same contact retailer.Format user area and defualt factory settings will be
fail. Mannual formatting stops in the middle.I tried this several times. If the modification of the cable can fix this problem,please tell me also.

If you try and show Contact Retailer. Please Change Uem and Rebuild Imei again. I have Problem for 7650 and 3650. And Problem Clear. Thanks.

hm ... why UEM ?? i think it is more like "Memory Problem", so that would be Flash Ic it self, or SD Ram problem.

ye, i've also face problems like fatahillah... when try formating using the 3buttons,.. when formating, it stuck and frezzing.. i think this problem is in hardware failure.. or try the special adapter.. they said, it can fixx most of symbian problems, but i''ve never try..

just load it as PPM...click start...

i try the problem is mobile from dead phone, i change ic flash and i up load the program the phone and rebuild flash and the contact retailer.

i try again with new ic flash. is the same.

i try the change uem and rebuild imei and success.
