since i have installed griffin 2.084 i have the following problems:
when i try to flash a Nokia 6820 it writes erasing and then displays the ERROR:
Make sure phone is connected and powered!
ErrCodes: [11:FFFF8200]
When i try to power on the phone and then detect phone it can't.
This also happens with 7600.
Also i can't dedect any phone.
Before when i powered on the phone while connected it was ok

I tried other versions of griffin with the same problem as well.

What is the problem?

I have tried a Nokia 8310. It flashed ok but it could not power up the
phone to read it.
Also its working ok with DCT-3 phones

same here dude did a job flashing 8310 w/ 2.084 in the end i use griffinv1988 and set pm values on griffinv2.084 :D
i think it pays to keep previous griffin versions " just in case " :lol:

I tried it with 7210 and other DCT-4 phones with the same error. I tried older versions but the same result: Make sure phone is connected and powered!

I have installed again 2.084 full installer but the same result.

have you try to flash in safe mode??

The solution is so easy , It happend with me when I paid $100 for my 6600

Just install the FIA 3.71 it is available here within this forum search for all posts done by me I uploaded befrore for some others
Let me know I'm sure 100% we cn solve it within 5 minutes

I try to flash nokia 6310 in manual mode (phone can't swich on) and I get this "Failed to find FIA file in c:\program.....\flash ERROR (78878778)".
I don't think there's no FIA files because I can flash other phones (6510). Tell me, please is it griffin box problem or I can't flash my 6310 because of phone hardware problem?

in which folder to upload the .fia files:

c:\program files\nokia\phoenix\ _flash2 or _flash3 ?

that was the problem.
I downloaded 3.71 fia files and everything is working ok as before.

You can also try to re-install the flash update and install it again, but you have to make sure that you update your fia file, i use this method some error like 78878778,FFFF8200 and works 100%

Check your voltage of your adaptor with a test meter. If the voltage is high or lower than 9V it will power on. Sometimes after prolong flashing, reset your pc if it suddenly cant flash. Hope it works

Griffin is driving me crazy. :(
After i fixed the problem i mention at the begining by installing 3.71 flash loaders today as i was flashing 1100 it made the same problem. I have done everything i could. I have uninstalled griffin and then installed again. Replayced flash loaders with 3.71 but the same problem as before. Any DCT-4 phone i try to flash it shows error "Make sure phone is connected and powered!

With DCT-3 phones its working ok. Could it be a box problem? Or some other program is making problems to griffin?

Just be quite and Install griffin 2.083 then 2.084 then unzip the flash <dir> copy overwrite your flash <dir> I can help hooope 4 sure I faced this prob twice a day but it is ok don't gave up it can be solved and ur box is ok

No the problem is not fixed yet. Sometimes it works fine but sometimes it does not work at all. I even tried it on a new pc. I asked a friend and sent me his Griffin and everything is working fine with his box. So it is not a fia problem i think its a hardware problem. There must be some problem with my box and its making these problems.
I will try to ckeck if the box is working ok by mesuring the power that goes through the box.
