thats the address of the router , why you spread it on internet ?

you need the CD that belongs to the router
it has the same app in it , as the one in the router [ as in your screen shot ]

btw
if the router works fine , dont mess with it
dont even reset , unless you know the correct configurations

MAC address/IP Address/DNS blackened out. Thanks for pointing out basflt bro. :)

@Djgavin: didnt the router come with english version cd? i have a huawei router which came with an english translated cd (because the language embedded in the firmware is probably chinese/japanese).

but does it work ?
can you access internet ?
if so you dont need to do anything
if not , you need to know exact name , type and manufacturer , so you can search [ it has a label on it ? ]

yes it works great, but i dont know how to set up a security wep code on it...
that router doesnt have any security on it...its an open network...
here is a bit of information about that router
It only says : netcore nw616 and the default login user/pass for 192.168.1.1
thats all.
i guess i have to find an update version for that page...so i can upload it on the page.
but i dont know where to get that update... :( plz help me

-think you are aiming at hardware firewall
not every router has it
you have to rely on your software firewall
me , i prefer Zonealarm

-it appears chinese build , mayby some chinese members can help U translate the items in screen shot ???????
or better , share their CD !!!

-again you display the address of your router , why ?
do you want them to break in ?

as you have a working connection , i dont see how to help further , sorry

this isnt my ip address basflt, its the gateway of my router or whatever...everyrouter has the same ip address even a livebox does...
and i dont know what your talking about for firewall alarm..but i was talking about updating my router software inside (192.xx..x..x)
but i guess your right i need to find someone with the same router and the cd from it.
thanks anyways both of you.

guys i have another problem, Ive got another router : linksys WRT54GP2A-AT
and this one is in English everything works fine with it
but how can i set a password on it for wifi???
i have tried log in into: [Only registered and activated users can see links] but then i clicked on the wireless security and changed security mode to something like wep and wpa after clicked save setting and then nothing happened? it didn't even ask me to set the password i wanted??
whats wrong? is it because am trying to set it from a wireless connection?
or do i have to set it with a local area connection???
