Hi pll i have buy a griifin platinium all ready activated by my resseler but , when i open the soft the software send a message like this: bad activation status :( i all ready change the lpt configurations but the same problem happend , im have tried on win xp anda win 98 an the same problem.. :( some sugestions?

make sure you are using the right lead

try to change the ltp paralell cable:)

Make sure if the all the supports are connect well.

Check you BIOS setting

try to change to ECP+EPP or either ECP or EPP

Worst to worst then u send in the file to re-request for activation again. I encounter this problem also. After I get the activation files then I activate it n its is working fine again.

I just changed bios to EPP+ECP and worked fine!

Before the word" Bad Activation Status", is there any others word??

change lpt option in BIOS to 378/rq7

bad cable going to printer port, bad activation result

its definetely the adapter. check it, buy one with 9v 1000mA. your problem should be solved. if not, take your griffin to a friend computer, get started there and back on u go
