Hi! Why does my version have bad graphics. The screen is almost blank and it's shakey. I already installed libgles* mand libgles1*. What could be wrong? The opening video does not appear. Only the sound works.

Why does my version have bad graphics. The screen is almost blank and it's shakey.

As BuLuTyG said, you'll need to create driver.ini. However, it shouldn't really be done in Notepad (UNIX vs. Windows line endings) and it's missing the group name.

Do this to fix the graphics:


sudo gainroot
cat >/etc/powervr.d/driver.ini <<EOF
[default]
ForceExternalZBuffer=0
EOF


(Just copy and paste from cat all the way up to EOF)


The opening video does not appear. Only the sound works.

Same here. It's a preenv problem - don't forget that: a) The N900 is not a Palm Pre; and b) the current version is 0.1.1 and javispedro is doing it in his spare time, without wanting donations.

Anyway, I find I have to also use the accelerometer control method instead of the other two as they require multi touch.

The game has some cheats built in. However, they're only accessible once you complete the game.

The following is tested on Driver 1.1.7.

If you delete your saved game (remove the Documents folder in Driver's data folder), replace <location of Driver files>/driver/data/mladder.dml with the one in the ZIP and then start a new game, the game'll then go back to the menu with cheats enabled. Exit Driver and replace mladder.dml with the original one.

You can then go to the Extras, enable cheats and then start a new game as normal.
