I hear b4... about N3650 Add 1 more buzzer..
just dig a buzzer size beside the Buzzer... then put 1 more buzzer inside...

(the sound is bad)

I heard that some ppl can take out one IC then bridge it to make the sound much more louder.

yup.. forget to tell u, dun replace too low 1... replace with 3x lower enough, otherwise the sounds not nice..

now got 1 new buzzer for modify nokia 3650/3660/6600 but need to exchange the original buzzer n need 2 modify the antena cap...bcos the buzzer so biger than ori 1...

I ever saw ppl changed it, the sound is loud, but must give to the pro to change if not the result will be worse than ur normal one. But is that a two buzzer will make the sound more nice?U guy have to tin first, this is support will true tone or wave, not mono tone, so i tin the original one will be better.

for the luoder wave or mp3 sound....nero 6...inside got wave editor..

use this wave editor to make ur sound..louder then upload to ur fon..

u will have a loud wave sound..no need to do any change at the fon.

you need to make sure when you change to the bigger speaker it must be air tight fitted snugly on the antenna cap--- i tried it it works

yeah, using soft in order to make louder the soundfiles but then evrytime u download a song is it u need to soft? why is it the P900 is so loud and better sound quality.... i think just amplify the sound output... i did what jay said, and it works...

use motorola E398 buzzer.. will be better. coz it got bass..

if u have 6600 diagram... replace the r337 resistor with a lower ohm 1.. of course u can replace any buzzer on it..just try with other buzzer.. the best is e398 buzzer

@jay19x...thnx for ur quick reply...just wanted to now the best resistor value that u have tested with this nk6600 model...ur telling that r337 is 22k ohms...what should be the best replacement then...@ candccom...can u pls tell us what is the resistor value that u put in place of 22k ohms...thanks...then we will find where to find this motorolla buzzer...

the way we use is not put more speaker .. n we r reduce the resist units of resistor so the voltage of audio output will be bigger and finally the sounds can be louder.. that's y we change r337 to smaller units. :wink:

I've tried mot c330's buzzeer, and se t610's, the later one is very good, but no bass. So, i added another amp ic inside my 6600 to drive the 2nd speaker. sounds good. The original one is set as is to produce the bass while the se t610 speaker is used to produce treble. The end result sounds like p900. I place the 2nd speaker at the battery cover by heating the cover to make a shape of the speaker onto it

I am planning to give my n6600 a make over so to sum it up, can anyone tell me this:

1. Step by step guide to modify the buzzer (or is it the speaker?) so that without the headset, the mp3 file of n6600 would sound like the motorola stuff or the sound of SE p800 or other cp with louder and better output;

2. Step by step guide to modify the n6600 so that it also has better sound quiality like the n6230 (with bass, treble etc) when listening through the headset.

Please...I need your help here guys. i couldn't bare to replace my n6600 with other units because of its tremendous capabilities. i can even do word and excel here which is very vital to me. Now what im after here is giving it a better sound quality for mp3 files.
