I have modded Mr. Milk's Dayhand Input (Iphone portrait keyboard) for the Fitaly layout.

Conclusion: Fitaly for One-Finger Entry ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

They claim to be able to reach 50 wpm! using a stylus on a touchscreen!
I wanted to try the program but it is only for the Pocket PC.

How to install:

Install Mr. Milk's DayHand Input Mod ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
Be sure to install the iPhone keyboard.
Make a backup of the four files (en26.png, eng26.ini, en26s.png, and en26s.ini) in the C:\Data\Dayhandinput\TouchSkin\iPhone_byMilk folder so you can copy them back if you don't like the Fitaly layout.
Extract the files in the .rar archive to your phones C:\Data\Dayhandinput\TouchSkin\iPhone_byMilk folder.
Create a new message with your new Fitaly keyboard (works on portrait only).

Notes:

Updated the .png and .ini files to support PRESS_IMG =1
No drag (up/left/righ/down) on alphabet keys but you can add your own.
Using Fitaly for the first time is VERY slow.
But after a few days of using it, speed is picking up.
The letters are all reachable by the thumb. Very convenient.
More useful than the funky portrait QWERTY of the 5800/5530 C6 fw.

The key placement? At first it was confusing, but after using for three days, I'm beginning to pick up speed. I was never a fan of using the mini qwerty keyboard with one hand because its hard to hit the letters and they are quite far. But with this layout, every letter is within thumbs reach.

Another cool thing about this layout is when people borrow your phone to send text to somebody they would go wtf!? and return your phone. :pmpl:

Update:
I thought that the abc/a.b key (toggles the predictive text) were fixed since it contains an offscreen button that is not part of the main keyboard. Found out that you can freely move it and the image will still update. I have made the 2 columns smaller and made the alpha keys a bit wider.

Changes:

Added symbols to the alphabet keys (drag up)
Made the alphabet keys wider
Other stuff that I forgot
