If it same as NK6600 try to switch off ur phone press (send+*+3) then switch on ur phone,Until it come out formatting.

I FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS THE PROBLEM IN CS STAR.AFTER I INSTALL IT. IN SETTING-> DEVICE->GENERAL. ONCE ENTERED I GET APPLICATION CLOSED GS.

Now,don't panic.The only way is
1. SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE,
2. PRESS CALL KEY(GREEN KEY),IN THE SAME
TIME PRESS * AND 3.
3. then,the phone will show word "FORMATTING" on the display
4. wait untill the formatting procedure finish.
5. Your phone is now OK
6. BEFORE FORMAT PHONE,PLEASE CHARGE YOU

well, this software is very nice but the problem is cannot remove the small fonts, even using explorer or what,

just find it out, working on my ngage, use this one to clear the font, will be back to normal font after restart the phone

If it same as NK6600 try to switch off ur phone press (send+*+3) then switch on ur phone,Until it come out formatting.

Anyways, this 8.6 Chinese Start is one of the best chinese thingy to have come along. It solves the headache that Q9 gave us!!! Thank you!!!

actually nonit using FONTREMOVER...
using handyfile or seleq in C:\system\fonts
juz rename the Fonts folder to another name...
then u can delete the "fonts" directly...
i hav another dictionary can support in cstar

Just used <fontremover> to remove without formatting ur phone...

After install they got a Icon in the Menu ..u can select CSNPFep & T9fep just select back to T9fep if u want to type in english but the fonts not change :lol: :lol:

If you understand chinese language you will find out this is the best software.Until now I still dont find a problem on typing chinese.And if you find any problem after istall it, use font removal.I had tried it myself, and works.thanks to all.

Font remover is to uninstall this s/w coz u can't uninstall this s/w at Manager :roll:

but i can uninstall this SW using the app. manager..

is it due to the version of the firmware that i encounter this problem?
mine was the earliest version 3.42.1.. does it has any connection?

tested on 7610 and 6600.no problem,and it was better than q9

full format of phone
for 3650, 3660, 7650 use *#7370# while phone is ON.
for 6600, 7610 phone unit must be OFF, press Send, *, 3, power on.

this software is great. the only problem is it cause problem on settting. app error. Pls post if anyone has solution. i try with 3650, 6600 and ngage

have to write the pm file then format user area...using tonardo only can use,if use the font remover or format also cannot,the phone still got problem afetr few day...after remove it got a lot of games cannot use,bomberman get system eror...sometimes message cannot open it...

Use front Remover u can download it at Page 3 :lol: after remove the Fonts ..Uninstall the 8.6 Chinses Star at your Phone Manager .. not need to Full Format :o :o :o

when you want to go setting!!! charge back english q9..!!!

I tried using Chinese star 8.6 in my N70, chinese fonts can't be seen. You could type however only block characters show up :p

If you are looking for chinese fonts, ive uploaded MMC fonts below. This lets N70 be able to read chinese fonts.

If you really need chinese input, try CSFep-7. It works on N70 however the serial keeps on popping up when changing input methods. Aside from that some menus are also not usable. But basically it works :D

My original N3660 doesn't support Chinese Characters too, but with this apps you we can type Simp. Chinese by Pinyin or Stroke methods also you can read any Chinese SMS or document (text files).

This program really usefull for chinese user .

I have a big problem. I've just upgraded the firmware of my Nokia 3230 from version 3.x (chinese version) to 5.0406 (english version). Since then, I couldn;t use the pre-installed English-Chinese dictionary which I really like. I have found the .sis file of the dictionary and installed it but the icon of the program would't show up. So I found this app "chinese start for s60" in this thread and tried it but once again without success. Could anybody help me out with this? i'm really stuck!

How to uninstall it? Whenever I tried to remove it from manager, it said "unable to delete. Application is open". I think this application make Opera v8.60 cannot read characters. My phone is Nokia 6600 v5.27. Thanks in advance.
