Hello,
i installed last week a second internal hard disk to my computer, however now both disk are very slow!
By slow, i mean when moving files into the drives, it is taking about 50x more time than before.
Can i do something for this?
Thanks in advance

only thing i can think of is power
use a different cable for each disk
also
use an on-line power calculator to see if PSU is strong enough
like this one ;

fill in every thing and you know your minimum

Check/change cable(s) OR you have bad cache mem on HDD/processor...

Before adding extra internal HDD you should have seen the capacity / capability of your processor and RAM my friend...
I think your processor is not capable of handling 2 Internal HDD's at a time and may be your RAM is 1Gb or less... :(
Also it may depend on ur HDD's Revolution Per Minute (RPM), may be it is less than standard RPM of 5400, thats y its taking long processing time... :(
Try upgrading ur RAM to atleast 2Gb DDR 3 (if DDR 3 is supporting ur motherboard) or DDR 2... This is the cheapest way...
Or else u have to go for better motherboard and processor which supports ur HDD (normal / SATA)...
If u dont wanna spend anything, then u can try formatting ur PC and giving adequate space to the drive where windows is installed... ;)
Thats all was coming to my mind, as I wud have done these thingzzz if my PC's slow... :(
Hope that helped... :)
