my 7610 bluetooth not working...
when i on the bluetooth its say "unable to performe bluetooth operation",
anybody got solution for this ???

try downgrade version then flash back to higher version with the tick 'skip bluetooth flashing'

try dont write PM after flash,then try test the bluetooth see can funtion??

Atm,Third party software cannot solve it as nokia was put extra checksum for it,same problems like nk6230 after flash bluetooth not funtionable and only can be revived by nokia original tools.

The conclutions is dont simply use the erase files to erase the phone eps the newer phone :lol: :lol: :lol:

i have the same problem..
and after i write pm that i d/l the pm from ur friend in this forum.. the phone became unstable... n restarted again and again.. i still waiting for the right pm for 7610 or tomorrow i read pm from the other 7610. and as i know, there still only one version for 7610, isn't it?

Simplify,changing PM on newer phone is not allow as nokia was put new security on it.

i've already read pm the new phone,. then write it to the 'unstable' 7610,, and sems to be normal again,.. but the bluetooth still ;( can't perform bt operation...

For my opinion, i dun think that nokia have implement security in bluetooth. Cos to function the bluetooth device, the correct driver should be use. As the phone can operate well, but the bluetooth cannot be function. There should be changes in reading the address location of bluetooth driver in the ROM. This may cause by faulthy flashing of address from griffin like the previous early version where the same bluetooth function cannot be operate.
I think we just wait next release of griffin on fixing this problem or function.
Or try others flashing tool.

I heard from someone saying that after write pm, his bluetooth works. His method is write pm up to 70% and unplug the cable from the box. I never test it before, but maybe anyone of u can have a try.

yes, "maybe" this will work...we dont have to back up the pm for

bluetooth, but we dunno what address the bluetooth located.My customer

can not wait for me :cry: so i dont have set to try :cry: .

anyone out there got it....pls try and post the result.

u gotta backup a same flash firmware version n same region pm... n delete section 5 of it, then write it to the phone.. let me know the result.. hope this can help u.. :lol:

I also having bluetooth problem after changing Uem2 and wrote Rpl.I trying unplug cable during 45%,yes it work,my bluetooth work again,but my phone cannot charge with original charger .I think some data of pm file lost writing to phone during unplug cable from box. :oops:

exactly pm files problem... dun think too much, the data of bluetooth in pm cant replace it when u flash it to other version of 7610 or after u erase the flash.. coz they become unlinear alr.. except u flash it with same version if software problem but dun erase flash... u wont get any problem.

the answer is try to figure out which section in pm is bt data..just delete it.n write it on your phone

hi i found this thread in other site to repaire 7610 blue tooth

The file name is rh51_bluetooth_repair_step1 & RH51_bluetooth_repair_step2. Both of these files are zip files. Please use the Winzip software to unzip them to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\Rh-51.
Steps to flash :
1. Put the rh51_bluetooth_repair_step1.bin file into MCU column to flash it. (If cannot find the file, then try to select Files of Type to "Binary *.bin").
2. After flashing is done, then put the RH-51_bluetooth_repair_step2.pm file into the PM column, and then press "Write PM" button to run it.
3. Double click on the Init Sim Locks after writing PM.
Note : Do not tick on the "Enable BT Flashing".

First - erase eeprom
second - flash pm to phone

Yes, the pm file in this package is the same as I did it before. I fixed my 7610 bluetooth problem by this way: first full erase your phone, then flash it with any firmware you want. Then after flash don't rewrite the original pm of 7610 attach with griffin! (cuz it can't fix bluetooth problem. Try to read your pm (after flash) and store it. After that, your phone can power on but no operator's signal. And finally, you should open the original pm of griffin, copy only all section [1], and paste it into the pm that you've read it out from your phone after flash. Now you have the combinated pm with fixed bluetooth problem and works well.

i have a new 7610 flash but gives an error instaling on pc ,it says RH-51 Phone Data Package EMEA/APAC 4.0 must be instaled first.This setup process will b aborted .
do you know what can i do to solve this ?

Please erase the erasing tool (i attached here eraser&pm) then write pm.

You can see your bt working properly
