1. it Required preenv 1.4
2. Install game
3. copy this file, libsdlpre.so to / opt / preenv / lib / libsdlpre.so
4. Copy this file, avatar-mido.fayad.sh to home / user / MyDocs
5. Open X terminal and type:

sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
chmod +x avatar-mido.fayad.sh
sh avatar-mido.fayad.sh

Now you are able to play and control this game by keybord...:devilsmoke:

To install preenv you must have extras-devel enabled. In xterm then:


sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install preenv

Or else just install rootsh from the Application Manager, root your N900 and do those commands without sudo.

After that just follow warrior's instructions.

it meams the file is not there...try without sudo gainroot.. just type root and follow the next.

sry to say my friend but looks like there is sum mistake in your instruction of xterminal command, like how did "avatar-mido.fayad.sh"from step 4 become "-avatar mido.fayad.sh"?.......besides i think we should rename the sh file from "avatar-mido.fayad.sh" to "avatar.sh" only.....one more thing is there should not be any space bitween "+" and "x" while chmodding and should be an space in the last line bitween "sh" and "avatar-mido.fayad.sh" or "avatar.sh"(after renaming)

So after renamnig "avater-mido.fayad.sh" to "avatar.sh" the whole command in the x-terminal is

sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
chmod +x avatar.sh
sh avatar.sh

This procedure worked for me should work with others too.

dear, if all methods are not working means, you must be not install rootsh..
if you not then go to your phones application manager and install it, then apply this all commands

no offence but i think you should check the x terminal command line again, I dont know much about linux but as far as i can see there are some mistake there, check my last comment that might help

my dear there is no problem with command line, just a difference of root and sudo gainroot,
you check it again, becoz i already done with my phone and with my 2 friends phone.

But in avatar you put a space bitween + and x , dont you think it is a fault?

after typing the last line(sh avatar-mido.fayad.sh) you have to w8 till it finishes. may b u r exitting xterminal b4 that. keep trying let me knw of ur progress

i tried every way in this forum. but nothing is working for me :( how long do i have to wait after writing the codes in xterminal. i waited about 5 minutes and nothing happened.. help meeee

i think the problem was the libsdlpre.so script
did you move it to opt/preenv/lib/ ?

aniways..this is what i did to make the keyboard work
1.i update my preenv to v1.4 using
apt-get install preenv
2. i download the libsdlpre.so and copied it to MyDocs..not the .documents folder.
3. then i use this command
cd MyDocs
sudo gainroot
mv libsdlpre.so /opt/preenv/lib/libsdlpre.so
4. then i download the avatar-mido.fayad.sh patch
5. copy the avatar-mido.fayad.sh to MyDocs..
6. then run this command
sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
chmod +x avatar-mido.fayad.sh
sh avatar-mido.fayad.sh
7. done

*the MyDocs folder when you connect ur N900 to your pc is the first thing that comes up when you open your N900 using windows explorer..MyDocs contains .documents folder, .audio folder and many more.
* u will notice theres about 5second lag in xterm after your enter the sh avatar-mido.fayad.sh command if you enter it all right.
thats all about it from my experience..hope it helps

i dont think you have to keep xterm open while playing tha game..im not sure whats wrong with ur phone..what version are you at?

It seems u have done the command line correctly......tell me, did you press all the keys of the keyboard or only use the arrow to control the character??...... ill upload a video 4 u when i get the tym.......don giveup yet.......n900 is such a good mobile!!

at last it worked for me :) guys thanks a lot for your help specially gama senin. finally.. now i can play multi touch games.. :) n900 is the best mobile. im wondering if there will be a way to remove the virtual buttons on the screen... any ideas or any tricks?

can i do this without memory card?just put the sh file it in the main memory

make sure you download it completely and the format is .deb..or you can manual install by

open xterminal

type:
sudo gainroot

cd to where you place your installer(.deb file)
if you put it in MyDocs,

type:
cd /home/user/MyDocs

then type:
dpkg --install thefilename.deb
