Bluejacking is the act of sending a contact via bluetooth to another phone. The contact name containes your goofy message to supprise/freak the person you are sending to. When you send this bunk contact to another phone most people will instantly see the message you put in the name field of the contact you sent them. This will supprise and make them look around and try to figgure out who is doing it to them (if they are smart and realize what is happening to them)

One the other hand bluesnarfing is what is bad and malicious. The Act of bluesnarfing is when you compromize a phone either by stealing all the data off somones phone be it, pictures, video, sound, apps and even your address book. They can also delete and modify anything on your phone. This is illegal and can only be done with a laptop running linux and preferably a sniper antennea. With a special sniping antennea a bluesnarfer can crack you from 1.5 miles away with bluetooth. Everyone thinks bluetooth is short range, but with the proper tweaks it can be done!

I will not post ANY info to actual bluesnarfing software, but I will give you a link to a video clip that is proof of concept and demonstrates a 1.5 mile range sucessful bluesnarf.

Hey Bloover Worked perfect on my 6630 when I installed it, but since I ran it the first time, it hasnt been working anymore, I click on it, it goes in and exits right away, this happens with quite a few apps, could it be due to lack of memory or somehting or conflict, or is the program not compatible with my 6630 (although it did work the first day)

It wouldn't even start at all. I need to get a larger mmc, this one is packed to capacity. The phone is dead slow and quite a few apps do that now.
Anyway, I uninstalled a few big apps and reinstalled Bloover, it seems to be ok for now.

ok I tried blooover on my n6600 and it didn't work at all except for one n6310i, but I was messin around with the other bluetooth software and decided to install bluejackx as well, that app sucked but I didn't remove it from my phone, instead I did another sweep and as usual I got my girlfriends phone as the only local phone so I ran blooover changed the settings to sms snarf only and it worked, I got 10 of my girlfriends text messages, but before I installed bluejackx her phone was invunrable

The weird thing that I find is, u r hoping tt ppl are stupid enuff to leave their bt on. Yes, there are ppl who are just ignorant abt things like this but by now, even ppl staying in timbaktoo knows tt.

tried running it on my n70. no problems in starting up, but completely useless.

I Hacked into Motorola E398 wid the help of Bloover v2 on my N6600, It works on few handsets..

I tested bloover 2 on those phones:

Success on:

Nokia 6230, i got the phone bock, Call register, added a contact... etc etc!

FAiled on:

6680, 6681, 6600, 6630

The apllication requests authencation of connection sends 3 files which gets into inbox, no goods out of it :(

dont lie u only hacked ur 6230 with blooover2 cause u paired with fone or have in the past.

Second the malformed object attack does work if done on the correct fones its a old way of mobile viruses which can be sent via a mms or txt msg,arrives as a network settings but it will make many fones reboot and have signal problems.

another thing the reason it doesnt work they didnt but a bad malformed vcf card in it ,after all they dont even let u view the sms u snarf or change the set call number.

But if u smart u can change the trinite card it sends to ur own malformed 1 and can steal any file from the fone,they just make u snarf a dud file.In the bluesnarf settings in blooover2 not the bleeder version select retreve custum then if u change that telecom/pb/log.dat. well u change change it to any file as long as u know the full directory,after u snarfed it providing u save the reports.

In ether e:/ or c:/ drive depending where u installed blooover2 so say c:/ then go C:/system/midlets find the blooover folder the snarfed file should be there.

But does any one know how to change the set forward number,i tryed opening the midlet files with system exporler on fone and u can view the settings including the g.w.bush name and number and the set call number see i change the set call number save the file.Then open blooover2 go to settings the set call number is blank but u still cant edit it,but the g.w.bush is also blank but u can edit it so does any1 know what im on bout and how to change it ?

jabster>There is a program called Redfang that forces the last 6 digits of bt i.d address so that it is discoverable from undiscoverable.Unfortunately it is a Linux prog.Although i have seen redfang for s60 when googling.But dont quote me on that (ha ha)

I used my 6260 to search for devices through bluejack,as my ngage had bluetooth turned on.I sent a messege to ngage from 6260,ngage did'nt asked anything but the messege sure appeared.

So I think everything could be possible if authorization is stoped !!!!
