I am having a strange power ON problem, Phones are not powering on when connected to Griffin Box. I have had the box since May 2004 and have had no problems with it, but now DCT4 phones will not power on when connected to the box, I have tried with 3100, 6610, 6590, 6820 all different cables but same result - they do not power up with the cable, but with the battery they turn on - no problem. DCT3 phones like 3390, 8890 power on when connected without problem. I can't even reset user code on DCT4 phones because the phone needs to be on for it.



If I try to flash in MANUAL MODE, I get the error "11:ffff8200 makesure phone is connected and powered" or "44440000" or "55556DCB - Too slow PC, Too long cable etc." I am using the same Power Source (9v - 1000mA) and same PC.



Any suggestions.

well this is problem u face while flashing dct3 phones..its a huge bug in griffin, but still ur able u flash dct 3 phones with griffin..just u have to make some adjustments

It must be a harware problem with Griffin Box. I used to have that problem with BOX I but i was not able to fix it.
Now i am using BOX II.
So far no problem :-)
