i dont think you need to sudo gainroot or root for this , infact that may be causing the problem...
gama_senin 14th February 2011, 12:52 @bro dmoe
..how does it work during playing the games then?
..the xterm part i think i dont have any problems with..no errors show up..
only after i entered the last command (sh ewj.sh), about 5sec the xterm went for some process..then it went back 2 normal..
i figured after that, i can use my keyboard to play the game..unfortunatly, it doesnt..

Shirako 12th May 2011, 20:51 somebody told me to use WebOS game Manager to get .sh mods work..
Shirako 13th May 2011, 14:24 How To Play With N900 QWERTY keyboard :-
Currently there is an unofficial modifiable patch for preenv 0.1.4 that is using the keyboard as the multi touch. It needs to be configured properly for each game to get the QWERTY keyboard to work.
To get the patch working, download the Patch
[Only registered and activated users can see links] and copy it to MyDocs (N900 Internal Memcard)
Now, type in X-terminal:
cd MyDocs
sudo gainroot
mv libsdlpre.so /opt/preenv/lib/libsdlpre.so
It'll Apply (libsdlpre.so) patch to all WebOS games
For each game *.sh mod are here
[Only registered and activated users can see links] get the games *.sh mods working to, you need to type the following commands in the X-terminal (Assuming that the file is allocated in the MyDocs):
cd MyDocs
chmod +x (Modname).sh
sh (Modname).sh
it is working Well...I've Tried it by Myself..and yes I'm a rookie too :D
dont forget you must have rootsh installed on n900... available from repositories or
