View Full Version : [GBA] Pokemon Emerald GBA Rom + English translation!!!
dayesh 21st December 2004, 22:45 Finally an english patch for the Pokemon Emerald rom is out!
You must Use with VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.2
INSTRUCTIONS: U must name the ips file from the zip same like the rom file. and in VBA goto Options>Emulator>Auto IPS patch should be on!
Have fun with this, because the official english version will be out in July next year... DOwnload the Emerald Japanese rom and use the attachhed patch.
Get the pkmn emerald japanese rom from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Get the 96% english patch:

dayesh 26th December 2004, 14:53 GBA emulators for mobile phones not yet out yet because a GBA emulator needs 300mhZ minimum to run smoothly, and ur mobile is only 12mhz.
But, a GBC emulator is avaialable... see first post.

i have gba emulator but it version is 1.6 and it can't run pokemon emerald roms (i downloaded and the file name is 1986).

ei i think i have seen one in this forum try the search bar... i have typed
"gba roms"... just scan the search results..... but its just a demo... it is named "Vbag"... ;)

The vampent one was too slow to play properly....
Are there any other GBA games compatible with this emulator? And do they run properly?

because i want to access the japanese only events in the jap emerald rom. That a good enough reason?
