TomTom Citymaps London v1.0

Even though it says nokia92xx it is tested and runs perfectly on my Nokia 9300.
The only thing I have noticed is that if you try to zoom in/out the map with the shortcuts (ctrl + I,ctrl + O) rather from the menu the application crashes.

hello people i dunno if im the 1st to do this or if its allready been posted but ive figured out how to get the full version on s80IR remote & Hotspot finder for nothing.

What the differences between powerdesk 3.1 and 3.2. Is it only a bug fix, or there are some new features?

What's new in PowerDesk 3.2:

Cutting image problem in today view full screen mode is fixed. You should re-select image for changes to take effect;
Automatic switching date on midnight in today view is fixed;
Time is shown in title now in Desk view full screen mode;
Now Today view shows last selected tasklist when starting or switching to today view;
Phone numbers containing '-' character are correctly dialed now by PowerDesk speed dials;
Icon that marks currently selected date as today is translated to German correctly;

There don't seem to be too many changes. Guess it's more of a bug fix.

You have to select the list first then edit to select from contact and turn it on. As you can see, upon selecting blacklist you can see 2 telephone icons color black - black list and white accept only list.

The *.nfo file you'll have to open it at the pc (right click and open with notepad or immediately with the attached program).

pranav2010 the call recorder which u want comes from Psilac which makes very secure applications...The application is called extended recorder...applications from Psilac r very hard to crack as they r IMEI based and when u install the code no. it gets checked via sms or gprs with the Psilac server whether the application is officially bought or not...unless u buy the application, u wont get a positive response from the Psilac server and so u wont be able to use the application at all...so the best option to use the recorder is to buy it...

pranav2010 here's simple call recorder app I wrote few days ago. It has functions to record automatically every call you make/receive or to start recording manually if you want. It should be improved in many ways but nonetheless is somewhat useful.

A port of the classic Lunar Lander arcade game, Moon Shot's graphics and controls have been optimized for the Nokia Communicator.

You can fly the LEM through a variety of different screens and terrains, with landing sites that are easy or almost impossible. To make things even more interesting you can choose three different levels of fuel, and three gravity strengths. You earn points based on successful landings, with more points earned for difficult landing sites. Increased gravity scores extra points. Soft crashes or explosive "make a new crater" hard crashes will cause you to lose points.

Caution: High gravity is hard. Very hard. Really.

1. Please try to make it possible to install CallRecorder on D: or at least offer the possibility to save all recoded files to the MMC.
This would offer the possibility to save precious RAM space on the commy.
2. In the manual mode try to make it doable to activate the recoding function from the keypad of the phone side, like eRecorder.
3. Please add short cuts for the functions like Play (Crtl+P), Stop (Ctrl+S), Record (Ctrl+R), Enable (Ctrl+E) and Disable (Ctrl+D), for example.

No, blacklist for 9300/9500 do not exist. the one that you installed its for 92xx (I assume based on my experience) ! and some people think its work on 9300/9500 and post it ! As far as I know !

I notice one that intentionally go back and delete all the attachement that he ever post too.

Notice one also that upload a supposed to be Full retail version but marking it with "Crack by .....". Come on guys this is not a cracking competition.....Just share what you have. You take some and you give some

Its also not cracked, can't find the normal invalid serial trick to crack, otherwise it requires to build a KeyGen! its available somewhere but not to public yet! I had bought it as I belive these kind of software should be bought anyways!!

Keygen is 'old' one, does work for this version of TomTom

AFAIK Keygens are required for the maps itself not the program, go to tomtom web site and create an account and when u use the software u can use the username & password and u can conect to tomtom site, however u can't dowload maps over commy yet! Anyways, u put maps under Ratser directory in the root :)

I'm dowloading the entire maps 1.37 GB now from a torrnet and will tell u if every thing OK then!! Problem is mt 1GB MMC has only 100MB free?!! Need that 2GB MMC ASAP! any clue?

Does any one have a clue why Norton stops upgrading virus dat files and I keep receving can't apply updates or updates failed?

your device and everything comes at the right place.

JackyX is right. You need for every map a different keygen.

Or the program has to be patched to work with all maps.

In the mainprogram at 100915A0 you find:

and also tried to make a jump 150 places
higher to pass the clear routine, but it still
asks for the codes.
(This is how it was done in the S60 application but it doesn't work for the S80)

No keygen found on the internet works at this point with the TomTom S80 application.

But you can start to d/l the maps in case something comes up to use it........

How to change the startup logo on Nokia 9500
I have just found out how to change the Startup logo on the phone side when you turn it on.

Step1
You need to access the files in C:/System/Shareddata
I recommend using the FTP program that makes you see the files on your phone on your pc.

Step 2
When you can see the files, you need to copy the file called 101f8ddf.ini to your pc and open it using Notepad. The file will have a line linking it to the original Nokia logo which is in the Rom folder (Z:/System/cuiapps/CoverUi/Qgn_indi_wug_128x128.gif
We need to change that


Step 3
You need to edit the third line which says StandardWakeUpGraphic= and put in the link to where your file is like c:\boot.gif (when the logo to be used is in the root folder of C: )


Step 4
Now save the .ini file and then put it in the root folder of C:
When it’s on your phone, turn off the phone side and then now move it to C:/System/Shareddata and replace the existing one.


Step 5
Move your startup logo file to the location you used in the .ini file.
Making the logo
You need to have .gif file that is 128x128. Its much better if it’s a moving one, if it’s a still image, it will just flash for 2 secs and then the phone will go on the Standby mode.
You then need to rename the image to the file name you used in the .ini file

With this WiB Screen Capture, you can select the file format from JPG, GIF, BMP etc. Furthermore, it has a preview window which lets you preview images that was snapped and it is lightning fast! You also can set the key to take screenshots.

I also use another utility called ZScreenCapture by Zenithcore but this WiB Screen Capture has more functions than ZScreenCapture.

3- then got go to file manager from the 9300/9500 and copy this folder to system folder of the phone in this path

5-remove the battery and restart the phone
6-here u go now u can read your arabic messages

I've installed Fileguard to my 9300 and used the K***en and it starts fine. But when I try to encrypt files It won't work. I cant add files to my Favourite list. I push the "Add file" button and select the wanted file. When I push "ok" the favourite files list apears but there are no files in it.

Any idea what causes this??

does anyone have themes generator for s80 (9500/9300) ???...does such thing exist?..id love this.

TomTom Mobile 5 h**k for S80.

Just replace the original *.app file with the c***d one.
Works I've tested it. I've this way almost whole Europe in my Commy.

BTW. A 1 GB MMC is not large enough to save all maps and your apps. !

But one drawback: If you don't have already a registered map installed it won't work for other maps.
One workaround is to download via P2P Major_Roads_Of_Europe-Map.rar which doesn't need any registration and then run the other maps.

Attention!:

Most Mobile 5 applications (not the Maps ), found in the Net, are not compatible with S80 devices.
I suppose these are S60 apps.

You can recognize it, once installed, on the icon on your desk.
If it has yellow and blue colors it's incompatible.
It has to have orange and red colors.

pranav2010 here's simple call recorder app I wrote few days ago. It has functions to record automatically every call you make/receive or to start recording manually if you want. It should be improved in many ways but nonetheless is somewhat useful.

First I think that you making a great app und I’m using it for some time on my Nokia 9500, but if you don’t mind I have some ideas how to improve this app.

1. It will be great to use another drive, not C:, for saving records, nice option to save space on commy.

2. Maybe you can use, like option in app, another format for saving records, WAV for example, because AMR is very low quality, and records is sometimes hard to hear and understand, and if you solve first problem on my list it will be plenty of space for saving records.

3. It will be good to make some log file of records or even better to generate names of files not from sequential numbers, but to add date and time of making record (best like this- yymmddtime) to the name of record. In that way it will be easier to find record you want to hear.

4. Option to automatically delete files older then, for example, 7 or more days. It’s good option to save space, and it’s great for better organization of records because with time it’s too many records, and then becomes a hell to find record you want, especially if you keep old system of generating names.

5. On my opinion VERY USEFUL function will be to make possible to start recording manually when cover is closed by pressing one outside button, for example * or #, or some combination of buttons on outside cover.
It will be nice to have same function (shortcut) enabled on inside keyboard.

Bug that I’m notice: very often (almost always) on my Nokia 9500 when I’m recording, in background is beep sound every few seconds (not too loud), and not in straight time distances, sometimes is 4, 5, 6, 7, or more sec. between two beep’s.

No don't work. It starts and works allmost complitely but it can't be activated... Does anyone have fix to this problem? It has worked on my phone about 20 days or more... But somehow it cannot be activated anymore.

For CallRecorder use this keygen, it works, but if you have some other version or patch than

1. deinstall old version
2. delete /system/data/cr_check.dat
3. install again

Follow these three steps to install the Wood skin:


1. Transfer the folder '0x101F8EDB' and the file 'skinpath.txt' to your Communicator.

2. Use the File manager in your phone to locate the files you just transfered and
copy/paste the file 'skinpath.txt' to C:\System\Data\SkinConfig. Then copy/paste the folder
'0x101F8EDB' to C:\System\skins\ (if you don't have a 'skins' folder, just create one).

3. Reboot your phone.


The backgrounds for the skin can be found In the 'Woodbackgrounds' folder. The 'Woodback'
picture is to be used as your Desk wallpaper, and the two other pictures are to be used
as backgrounds in the PowerDesk application.

To remove the skin, or change to one of the default skins, you must delete or move the file
'skinpath.txt' from C:\System\Data\SkinConfig and reboot your phone.

To remove Stop! try to delete whole Stop dir in C:\System\Apps\Stop, it's works fine with me. Of course if you install Stop on C:.

In worst case you need to format your commy. First backup all your data and close all applications, turn the phone off and take out the battery. Put it back in after a couple of seconds. Open the Communicator. As soon as the blue NOKIA text disappears (the screen will become completely white), press Ctrl+Shift+F. After this you will get a message
whether or not to format the phone. Press the top command-button on the right side of the screen to format the 9500, the bottom command-button to continue booting normally.

To completely get rid of all additional installed programs, delete the entire \System folder on drive D: (your MMC card). If you cannot see the system folder in File Manager, switch it on by selecting "Tools"-"Settings" from the Filemanager menu and set "Show system directory" to "Yes".

Reinstall:
You don't have to reinstall the standard software since it is located in ROM. After the format, all your programs (Word, Sheet etc) are still there. You probably do need to reinstall all third party applications.

And yes, power secure is very good, and it's here (on this forum).

Nokia 9300i which today scored FCC approval is an unannounced upgrade to the 9300 Communicator. It looks the same (only the color is darker) and has all the features of the 9300 plus a larger 1100 mAh battery, WiFi (wireless LAN, supposedly both 802.11b and g), predictive text input in the cover phone, improved Bluetooth and 128 MB internal storage memory. No further details are available at the moment. It's possible that the phone will be officially announced during the Nokia Mobility conference later this month.

To kill (close) an open application press and hold CTRL+SHIFT+CHR+K very useful if you have a corrupt app that freezes when you open it.

Also to restart the phone you can do the following CTRL+SHIFT+CHR and while holding those down press K 5 or 6 times and the phone will restart.

I try this, and it works almost always.

Or you can use Rebooter, I think that the last version is 1.6 (I'm using 1.4 version), it's free, but you need to install OPL runtime.

Also you can use DevMan for ending tasks, rebooting and much more.

You can find this software on this forum, or I can post it if you don't find it here.

This is a litle trick for use the apps for a long time. Install de app with a false date for example 26/10/2010, open the apps and use it. Later back to the correct date and you´ll have app for 5 years!

Unzip the desired skins to your PC and copy the skin to your Communicator in the folder C:\MEINE_SKINS. Each skin must be copied into it's own folder below C:\MEINE_SKINS, e.g. C:\MEINE_SKINS\KARIBIK, C:\MEINE_SKINS\BLISS etc.

Start SkinInstall and press "1". SkinInstall will now read all folder names in C:\MEINE_SKINS and present a list of the skins found.

Select the desired skin from the list and press "Install". This will install the skin. To activate the skin, the Communicator needs to be rebooted, so select "Yes" when you see the message asking you to reboot your Communicator (make sure you save any changes you have made in other applications before rebooting).


Uninstall the skin:
If you want to revert to your old skin, start SkinInstall and press "2". The installed skin will now be removed. To reactivate your old skin, the Communicator must be rebooted again.

How TO Install or Open .SWF file extension
SWF are flash files, not possible install them. You can open using the browser with open file.. menu item. On commy works only flash files build with Flash versoin 5. I think there are no new players available for communicator, by now we are at the version 8 of flash... anyone knows if there are newer players available?

2) You have to extract the skins to C:\MEINE_SKINS ans ONLY to this folder on your S80!!!! This is the only folder, skininstall read at the moment!! So e.g. if you install the theme Bliss you have to extract it to
C:\MEINE_SKINS\Bliss

I am not able to delete a particular call from the Log. If you take the Log you have te option to clear either the complete log or Complete log before a particular date. I am not able to clear a particular call or any transaction from the log selectively.

In my earlier nokia phone 7710 and 7610 I was able to remove selective entries from log.

I wanted to know is it a firmware problem or NOT ?. If an upgradation of firmware to the latest will solve the problem. Or is it same for all Nokia 9300 users.

Yes buddy this is a problem with all the 9300/9500 users irrelevant of which firmware they r using...this problem persists in all the firmwares, be it old or new...this problem is something Nokia engineers should address and solve it with their next firmware release...
