This has been posted already by our friends somewhere in forum.Anyway just Download the dictionary file from Mobile Systems (www.mobi-systems.com), about 6MB but "DO NOT INSTALL" the supplied viewer but instead use the cracked MS dictionary viewer attached. This should also work for other MS Dictionary bundles..(Oxford Medical, Business, idioms etc.) Works perfect on my commy..

Follow these three steps to install the skin:


1. Transfer the folder '0x101F8EDC' and the file 'skinpath.txt' to your Communicator.

2. Use the File manager in your phone to locate the files you just transfered and
copy/paste the file 'skinpath.txt' to C:\System\Data\SkinConfig. Then copy/paste the folder
'0x101F8EDC' to C:\System\skins\ (if you don't have a 'skins' folder, just create one).

3. Reboot your phone.


To remove the skin, or change to one of the default skins, you must delete or move the file;
skinpath.txt from C:\System\Data\SkinConfig and reboot your phone.


Note : The 'Display' option under 'Control panel' will be unavailable when you use the skin.

once you fomat it should work oaky did you choose the format option after Ctrl+Shift+ Chr+F reboot will not help you may have to format the 9500 or try to trun off the application and remove it...

Yes friends u all r right...The Advanced Call Manager didn't even worked for more then 10 calls in my 9500...moreover this is v2.50 whereas the latest version is v2.51...someone please post the latest full version or the keygen for us...

sadly I definitely 100% sure you can't play a video in a whole screen on your 9300 (9500 as well). I mean you can set it, but the video will suffer from very low FPS ! its about processor ability !

I already try it, set the lowest setting as possible but still cannot ! I never play in 7710 thou !

install pcsuite, choose using data cable, connect the phone, run the pc suite, wait until connected, install sis files, and just follow the procedure ! piece of cake ! ;)

here we go : landscape, reduce frame, bit rate 128(i go for 192 if it cartoon/anime), force mono, frequency 16000hz 56 kbps volume boost 150-200% , BTW set targeted device to series 60 !

about bit rate you need to flexible : consider about u convert real movie or cartoon, fast moving scene like fighting movie or slow moving scene (fast moving scene in real movie usually more heavier thus you need lower your bitrate )

I still can go for 192 bitrate for slow moving scene !

1. the size depending on your bitrate rule : low bit rate= low size ! do trial & error !

2. you can connect your phone using pcsuite (if you installed it !) even using bluetooth ! adavantage using pcsuite is that you can browse you phone via PC so you can copy your file directly to your memory card ! read the manual and install pcsuite !

My op code is 424-01, i renamed a jpg logo file to 24_f4_20_0.ota. I stored this file into Communicator/System/Data/logos folder. restarted the phone from the cover and nothing happened. the show operator logo option in the display settings is still OFF and does not allow to change it. please advise.

You must change the number on the file name after the "f4" (ie. 24_f4_.._.ota) i don't know if the number is different between countries or operator, my suggestion is try to change the logo using your operator services or other services that offer logo changing (you have to pay a small ammount of money for this services usually) and then check the number, after that you can use any logo you have or created by renaming it with the same format. Mine just change the..._20_.. into .._10_... and the display setting is enabled automaticaly and then you can turn the display setting for the operator logo on or off. Hope it helps.

You must change the "?" into the correct number in order to enable the operator logo button under display settings, not sure if the number is different for every phone operator, but my country format is 15_f0_10_0.ota
my guess is you have to change 25_f5_20_0.ota into 25_f5_?0_0.ota (try 25_f5_10_0.ota) otherwise try my previous explanations to get the correct name format from your operator.

I have made small research of the .ota format and have found out the following:

1 - 4 byte - Country code GSM:
For my country (code my operator 259) first 4 byte including next value in HEX:
52 F9 20 00

5 byte - width size logo (4E) max value, (78 pixels)
6 byte - height size logo (15) max value, (21 pixels)

Note:
value more then 4E and 15 lead to a mistake of loading of a telephone part
with the next error:

Program: Cuicoverui101f8ddf
Reason code: CoverUIApp
Reason number: 91520



7 byte - always 01

8 byte to End of file - bitmap data

Example:
I create .ota file with next value:
52 F9 20 00 00 00 01 00

File name for my GSM operator - 52_f9_20_0.ota

This is EMPTY (transparent) logo operator.


Try to use this information, it can will help you to understand.

The file contains serial nos. of all the applications by L3 Solutions for 9300/9500 (I think they might work for Series 60 too, need to try). I bought the Mega Pack and found it to be waste of money and thought maybe if any of my friends can use the serials it will make me happy.

How Can I Format NOKIA 9500
1. Remove the battery, wait for several seconds, put it back and close the battery compartment. If you have programs installed that enable you to click the RESET option without removing the battery, use them instead. There are several to choose from - DevMan e.g.
2. Quickly open the communicator and press Ctrl + Shift + F (all three keys). Keep pressing and wait until the blue Format dialog window opens.

TUTORIAL : CHANGE OP LOGO FOR 9500/9300/9300i

YES. OK people who are interested and frustrated with the 9500/9300 logo issue. I finally figured it out. This method is very simple. You should have the USB cable for the Communicator and connect it to the PC.

1. Download this neat program "SMS-it". It is shareware but usable without restrictions. Google for it. It's a small file about 4.3mb I think. ;)
2. Connect ur communicator via the USB cable.
3. Install Sms-it, Run it and set it up to detect the commy. Then select the logo option.
4. Select the pic (some logos come with the program) u want as ur commy logo. ***
5. Select ur network, enter your phone # with country code and send.

The program will send the logo to ur communicator. NOTE: I got charged for each sms/logo I sent to my phone. The charges should be standard per sms charges by your telecom provider.

After saving the logo, the commy will place it in C:\System\Data\logos with the standard .OTA format extension.

*** I used paint to edit the GIF logo pics to create my own logo. I retained the same resolution as the black and white GIF logos. I do not know if it will work if you modify the resolution to higher ( eg. 71x21 ) or add color. The program may not support the 71x21 resolution or color logos to be sent to the phone.

this should work for any phone. the only slight drawback is the standard sms charges after receiving the logo but it should not be a bother because im sure everyone can afford atleast 1 sms.

in file must contain ur operator code.
example i'm use telkomsel in my country with code 510-10
filename must be 15_f0_01_0.ota
in the file u can see with hex editor must contain
15 f0 01 00
then put in ur commy in C:/system/data/logos (create logos folder if doesn't)

then u can change operator setting from font cover

To help you try these setting in your smartmovie converter: 1. Audio must be on MP3 format with 8khz to 16khz frequency setting. 2. Interlace must not go beyond 12 frames per sec. 3. Bitrates for video is from 150 to 200kbps and for audio is 16 to 32kbps. Use Xvid or Divx codecs. And don't for get the setting on Preferrences in the tool bar for your phone where you will play your converted video. Hope this will help, pls let me know

to connect n9500 to pc for using it as a modem for surfing net is simple. just download the latest PC Suite from nokia site (it also comes with the cd in sales pacakage) install the application.. restart ur machine and there goes ana icon of pc suite. start the appl and in connection menu chose the desired type of connection i.e bluetooth or dku2 cable then go to internet settings in pc suite and choose the N9500 as modem and pin up the acesspoint in blank and it is ready for take off

been using the remote P900 app when i used to have the P910i.
very useful app for me for i never have to touch the phone whenever im using my laptop.
now with the BT compatibility for the remote S80, things are very much less cluttery in my table. just my BT dongle connected with my BT mouse and phones.

I have a solution to crack Psilock progam. I take it from other forum. Let's everybody try it by yourself.. I hope it usefull:

1- install any new Psiloc programs.
2- change your mobile profile from General to Offline
3- open the program and go to license, Register.
4- choose restore and ok.
5- now the program will try send message to the company
but the phone out of coverage so the message will fail.
6- close the program then open it again now it is full version and don't
forget to change your profile.

though this is a very old suggestion, i would like to say that it does work specifically Psiloc eRecorder 1.3 but not with the new 1.64 - what i did was to snd the ticket mentioned in another post - got charged for 1 SMS and its still says licensing under process - i do not know the end of that but it seems its still working :) when the 'license' button is chosen - there is an option to continue unlimited license - try it :)

Yes very much possible but m8 you would need to enable your system files in the default file manager and then delete the folders with names of the related app in question but only prolem is newbies and first timers will inevitably leave some files behind as not all files are present in these folders.....

The onlyiest Psiloc program, I managed to install;-Cyrilic on Symbian, it was
first (and last) expereance of good Psiloc programm installation...
Anybody has answers?

It's my first post, and i would ask people if they tested Bloover & Bloover2 on their 9500.
I tested Bloover 1&2 the second version is most powerfull thant the first, it's scan, detect weaknesses on aother mobile, but It is impossible to perform the attack, we can just have at the end of scan a report, who resume the weaknesses detected on the phone.
I have herd about a *cracked* Bloover2 that can perform the attack, not just the audit.
Is it true ?

This program requires S80Utils OPX to be installed in your Communicator.

Install a skin:

Unzip the desired skins to your PC and copy the skin to your Communicator in the folder C:\MEINE_SKINS. Each skin must be copied into it's own folder below C:\MEINE_SKINS, e.g. C:\MEINE_SKINS\KARIBIK, C:\MEINE_SKINS\BLISS etc.

Start SkinInstall and press "1". SkinInstall will now read all folder names in C:\MEINE_SKINS and present a list of the skins found.

Select the desired skin from the list and press "Install". This will install the skin. To activate the skin, the Communicator needs to be rebooted, so select "Yes" when you see the message asking you to reboot your Communicator (make sure you save any changes you have made in other applications before rebooting).


Uninstall the skin:
If you want to revert to your old skin, start SkinInstall and press "2". The installed skin will now be removed. To reactivate your old skin, the Communicator must be rebooted again.

Take the battery out, then reinsert the battery, and push SHIFT CTRL F at the same time, holding all three down. Just after the hands logo appears, it will switch to a screen asking you if you want to re-format the machine. The rest, is up to you!

To format MMC in File Manager go menu, memory card, format memory card.

The Psiloc applications will cause error messages on most of the phones models specially when it is cracked and not the original versions, I have tried them all alomost and found the same results, i would recommend using original ones in this case.

here goes since uploading is back to normal again :) as for the webgate.keygenerator - ASM does not work but ACM is guaranteed - download the original app file from their site and enter code from the generator :) with Khashee please confirm if imei changer works with the 9500. thanks.

Just uninstall it entirely now first, reboot you commi, then set your commi clock forward to say 07/06/2010, then re-install verichat, then run verichat and sign into any service like msn or yahoo with your address and use it, then sign out, then close verichat, then now correct your commi clock to real date. The problem with the 1.00 version was, after installation and register it by keygen it works fine but after few days it stops recording and doesnt activate. And if i reboot my 9500 it also do the same, it doesnt activate.

I didn't find any app that dont work on both becouse they a Symbian operating system version 7.0S, Series 80 platform , but many software for 9210 and 9210i don't work on 9500/ 9300 (also s80, but older Symbian OS). Her is a list of working apps and games for 9210/9210i that work on 9500/9300

I've attached FreeNews (a quality feed; RSS and XML reader) that my pal said could crack, though not fully working at some times. It did work on some phones, while it didn't on others. The demo works for 7 days, then you need to buy the software. You'll need to make an account through the application or in their website (https://freerangeinc.virtual.vps-host.net/freenews/jsp/home.jsp).

This is a quality feed reader,.. much better than MobileNewsGrabber and the like.

Nope, no crack yet, and to be honest, over the weekend I took it off the commy. Pity hey? Could have been a great programme, worked well on my Sony P910i. Just doesn't keep up with the 9500 though!

aww. sad to hear that the Remote S80 did not do well as its Remote P900 counterparts. used the Remote P900 when i still have my P910i and it worked flawlessly.

how to restart my n9500?without getting my battery

To kill (close) an open application press and hold CTRL+SHIFT+CHR+K, very useful if you have a corrupt app that freezes when you open it. Also to restart the phone you can do the following CTRL+SHIFT+CHR and while holding those down press K 5 or 6 times and the phone will restart.

You can also install DevMan or Rebooter + OPL for rebooting the phone.

Hi, in this case I would recommend the old EPOC freeware - FreeCrypt. This program encrypts everything you can imagine - text files, tables, presentations... The functions are self-explaining but there is enough to read in the accompanying text file. FreeCrypt tends to be slow on really large files but works fine and reliably on small ones.

1. provided i have my clamshell open and a call came - i cannot activate soundcheater because there is a window on my screen saying somebody is calling me - should i answer, reject, or silence the tone. if i do a ctrl+space - soundcheater is not in the choices.

2. when i did manage to catch soundcheater - using the provided 'heavyrain' tone - it says 'cannot play file!'

i really do not know what the trick is why this method worked with me. as you will see - i have 'register' options grayed out meaning both dictionary and msdict are cracked. also, i do have two viewers installed - would you like to try installing 1.3 first before 2.40?

i guess the version of your NightClock for the 9500 is indeed FSClock - your commi's backlight will be active all night but make sure you are plugged-in as obviously the app will drain your batt mid-way.

for the nth time: download from smartphoneware.com the original app and then search for the keygenerator in this thread. that would take some time because obviously you have not read through this thread and just went straight to asking what you want.

Smart movie doesn´t work on a 9210(i). It works on a 9300(i) and 9500...

On the MsDict, your suggestion that I should install v1.3 first and then v2.4 was what did the magic. The Bible dictionary is now running as registered in my commy.
On the RMR, I've done what you suggested in 1 and 2 above. I did 3 also but not by deleting, what i did was to uninstall and re-install, three times over and over again. The files I'm using are from RMR site and the utils are included in their zip folders.
Also, I sent email to their support address above and they referred me to their FAQ today. I've gone through and it says what you suggested in 3 above but by re-install. I've just done that again now and still, they can't run. Only their RMRutility and RMRLock worked afterall.

There is no way to arrange the icons alphabeticaly, but you can arrange them manualy by using (move) from the (File) menu or (Ctrl+M).

Or if you do not want to arrange the icons, you can easely find what you want by pressing the first letter of the icon's name on your keyboard, I find that it's the easyest way.

I think you are talking about clock6, it's a freeware that display the time on the "whole display".

I use it together with "LightPlus" to turn the screen light on permanently during the night. Don't forget to plug in you charger if you are willing to keep the light on all night long.

Very usefull especialy when traveling, in a hotel room, when you wake up several times during the night to check the time.

one more problem with this my friend is that - as it appears to me - kaskus is not using the indonesian alphabet (sorry, i do not know what it is called) but english so a translator may not work really.

After all I have just downloaded I had to upload something for all.

This is a little app that you use under windows to convert mp3's, Ogg's, WAV etc... etc... The main reason for U/L is because you can use this software to change the bitrate on mp3's and other music files which will help you cram loads of music on your phone... or just save some space.

I would recomend using MP3 (lame) 32Kbps CBR using Joint Stereo if you are not using headphones with it or the same as above but using 64Kbps if you are using headphones

Hi Boss, I was only able to change the packground pic with the images...that's all. We didn't discuss utilizing them on skinning as I do not know how to do skinning and themes. If someone can teach me how to do it I'd be happy bcos various skinning had been posted here but no clear instruction for people like us.:ilove:

what is different with the Psiloc Erecorder is that the commi could be used as a dictaphone - even when the clamshell is close - activation is just a keypress on the phone's keypad which i think no other app is capable of doing just yet.

Bro actually the problem of Psiloc E Recorder is you have to press a key for recording a voice calls, unlike Call Recorder is automatic while there is an incoming and outgoing calls it will automatically record. :)

mate ialbum does not works perfectly on 9500 as it was built for 4bit color screen of 9210 and not for 16bit color screen of 9500(actualy it fades the images in 9500)

you can fix the 30day trial. all you have to do is register via wifi (with your phone off) then it will move the sms registration to outbox. delete it then turn your phone on and voila you got yourself a full version :))

Bro, if your using Yahoo account? You can retrieve email from yahoo using POP3. If MSN has a POP3 you can retrieve email. :ilove: I'm using Yahoo POP3 so i can send and received Email from my N9500. Check MSN if there is POP3... :iphonepost:

Bro, just try follow my steps. na post ko na. Philipines ka. yung outgoing smtp.mail.yahoo.com.ph and yung incomming pop.mail.yahoo.com.ph. Bro then its up to you kung gusto mo received ng email with attachment. mabilis received email sa akin kasi im using WIFI.

Bro, i have suggestion for Email at N9500. if you use email settings for N9500 your internal memory is affected in other words in Tagalog (mabawasan). Just use Profimail then install it to MMC then set it up as same as that i post... thats all guys. :iphonepost:

I have IA Album but the problem is not work for N9500. I dont think that there is IA Album for N9500 for N9210 only.

Just search at this thread you can find PCA, but I got info from Nokia Service Centre PCA is a bad software, it makes your phone become hang/restart.

Guys i have a good news for all 9300 Users.......The 9300 now comes with T9 enabled. There is a new software version viz 5.50 15-12-2006 RAE-6. Pl do a flash upgrade with this and walla you will get a free Dictionary along with the T9 function enabled.

I hope all my 9300 friends are happy with this update.
