Guys i have a good news for all 9300 Users.......The 9300 now comes with T9 enabled. There is a new software version viz 5.50 15-12-2006 RAE-6. Pl do a flash upgrade with this and walla you will get a free Dictionary along with the T9 function enabled.

I hope all my 9300 friends are happy with this update.

for me T9 is really usefull for messaging cause if i just type it the same would be displayed i dnt have to press no.4... 3 times and no.8 once to get this wor, with T9 you just press No.4 once and No.3 once and wallah u get the word. The same thing applies for the word that are not there in the dictionary. Just feed that word in the dictionary once and you would get the word the next time to type those no.

My observation for the New Version of 9300 V 5.50 is that the phone becomes too heavy in the sense it takes time to load the phone no. sometimes, it hangs sometimes, when you are calling or wanna sms that time it will say operation timed out etc.

So these are my observation for the new version.

nokia is the worset blood sucker in the industry... they are asking me to pay $29/ for the firmware upgrade....

i will never buy another Nokia phone... as my 9500 had so many problems since the day i bought... and every time i sent for repair i have to wast 4 hour of my time... as a business person i cant afford to do that.

After going through this text i can only tell you one thing. Your GPRS is configured for you to access WAP enabled sites only. It is not configured to access WWW sites. So please contact the service provider for the same.

when i install call recorder 1.0 for 9500 which i have downloaded from here indeed, i found a error mesg : program: zg.dlgmngr, reason code: binpda, reason number: 1001
it installs after wards but then when i want to active it , it doesnt works at all
but before i installed this call recorder, it was working fine very fine, but once i installed 1 application i didnt remiber now from then it gave me this mesg every time i install it, i removed that application but even then its not working,
please some one help me on this case, ill be grate full, but with out formating the 9500, i m waiting for ur reply

try to download callrecorder from smartphoneware or symbianware - the uncracked one - if it installs without problem then i will provide you with the keygenerator, it is already here somewhere but why bother looking for it if even the original file gives you problem.

get your firmware upgraded it helps but you have to visit nokia.... if you dont want to do that then maybe you want to format the 9500 it also helps, but all the loaded applications will be gone...

IM+? is that like MSN?i never use IM+
only tried Msn, Icq, and yahoo messenger...

IM+ is an aplication which contains msn, yahoo, Aim, all in one. U don't havr to get one application for one messenger.

as far as i know agile messenger is not free anymore, you can't even crack it coz it will check for version and so on... so u'd better using IM+ or u can try use mig33, it completly freeware, good enough.. chers..

to r_ng23 u may try this version, it works for me, maybe works for u too, hope will help..

After ICQ protocol changed once again, IM+ cannot connect to ICQ anymore.
Now I found out, that the best solution is using Jabber instead of all other services.
Unfortunately, there is no Jabber client for S80, and Jabber support in IM+ and Agile Messenger is not fully implemented, so absolutely useless in most cases.
So now I'm using Bombus. It's a MIDP2.0 (J2ME) - based application, but works on S80 (and other nokias) pretty well.
All the Jabber features are fully implemented, so You can use ALL the IM services with it (via gates). ICQ, AIM, MSN, IRC, MRIM and a lot of other things works really nice (especially, if a good gate is used).
Now I threw away both IM+ and Agile Messenger and chatting with the Bombus.
Oh, yeah! Bombus is freeware. Here are the URLs:

Have problem with IM+ as well. Sometimes when chatting with multiple protocol simultaneously, it hang. Agile is the best for communicator series in my opinion

IMHO, Agile Messenger is a piece of ****.
Its interface is awful - violates almost all the Nokia's recommendations.
It consumes my traffic with some unnecessary information.
Conversion between codepages is not always performed correctly.
Jabber protocol is not fully implemented. The srvices of other protocols also.
And for all that **** they (AgileMobile) want money to be paid! No way.

I have moved on to WM 5 as i traded in my 9500 for the 838 Pro. i was happy with the phone but was very unhappy with Nokia as they were charging me for Firmware upgrade...

I am enjoying my new WM5 838 Pro as i can use Skeype, MSN, and have seemless sync with my Outlook.

please do not take me wrong but i think the Windows Mobile has evolved from CE to PPC to WM 5 and it is good.

guys i will be o nthe PPC section of this forum..

my old Surecom BT dongle which works flawlessly before got busted and the new one i bought (from CDRKING) is having problems with connecting with it. with the old Surecom BT dongle, i didnt even used the cd that came with it. literally plug and play. with the new one, i have to install the bluesoil thingy which still doesnt make it work.

any idea what specific BT dongle can i get that would work flawlessly with Nokia PC Suite?

I have a problem with IM+ and ICQ. I use the latest 1.41 and also tried this with 1.40. There is an error message "Autorization to ICQ server failed. Please check user name and password" if I try connecting to ICQ. Of course, user name and pass are ok. Any ideas?

The point is, that ICQ server closed now for all non-ICQ application , like IMPLUS. This is repaired on 1.42 version of IMPLUS, but there is still no cracked version. All version before 1.42 failed to connect to ICQ server. Trial 1.42 works fine with ICQ.

Try the X-Micro Bluetooth USB Dongle. The software is by widcomm but it is plug and play on Windows XP and works well with PC Suite.

Maybe you will be disappointed by my advice... I do not recommend using mobile phone as GPS at all.
Firstly - the battery drainage is too high and you can expect humble two or three hours of life without recharging. Even if you use your NOKIA in car, connected to the cigarette lighter, you will experience similar problems with recharging the batteries in your external bluetooth antenna unit.
Secondly - the quality of maps available for Garmin GPS is superior compared to TomTom or PowerNavigator. This may vary in certain parts of the world but it certainly is true for the area I am living in - Central Europe. Both programs mentioned use routable road maps with practically no information about terrain.
Thirdly - using of GPS software and maps requires lot of space on memory card. Be prepared that you cannot squeeze any other SW or data on the card which will temporarily prevent you from using any programs except for wired ones in RAM. Living Bluetooth connection to antenna will block any other Bluetooth devices too.
And finally - the resistance of NOKIA phones against humidity, dust and shock is very poor, making the usage of the communicator in terrain very limited, compared to dedicated GPS units.
All these circumstances lead me to conclusion that GPS in my NOKIA is a fine piece of technical gadget but with very, very limited usage compared to the price paid and limitations caused. Using of dedicated GPS unit like Garmin GPSMap CSx60 is far superior by a great margin and in my opinion could be recommended despite the higher price.

I think you shoud use PC to Sync your P900 to Outlook or some PIM application and then when you sync the N9500 to the PC it will load all the contacts to Nokia...

otherwise there is a Vcard App for Nokia 9500 which allow you to export your contacts to Vcard format, please check if that works for your P900...

install 1.45 first, crack that with the keygen and then upgrade to 1.51. be careful also in using your playlist - do not delete any song - just unmark them because if you do - the original file will be deleted from its location. hope this helps.

i manage already to make it work by installing the trial version first. i had FSclock before and nightclock does not cut it in my opinion. thanks anyway :)

I recently bought MailX. A guaranteed to work push email system for my Nokia 9300i.

Well, it doesn't push and it doesn't pull, so what it really does I'm not too sure!

I tried everything, changing every setting, installing, uninstalling, you name it, and having bought it from South Africa (with a very weak economy) it was VERY expensive, so I was getting frstrated!)

I contacted the developer, Roberto. He got back to me, but not with any apology, any solution or any advice. As far as he was concerned it's perfect, it was just me, or my phone that wasn't!

Strange enough Seven On Always Mail works ALL the time!

That's why they charge more, but you know what, I'd rather pay more for something that works, than less for something that doesn't!

Hi,dudukrack;the installation log doesn"t take u a lot of space ,ur commy got 80 mb internal memory ma.... and if u clear the log,when something happen to ur sw,u cannot easily remove it and u running sw will not be stable(i try b4),if u still want to remove it ,u can try this method(i try b4 and works)
remove ur sim card and mmc card,insert other service provider "s sim card and other mmc,run the phone ,after several minutes,remove the battery,change back to ur own sim card and mmc,u will find all the installatio log cleared.
IN my country,there was no free push mail yet...
dunno hear any rumours,just liase with ur nearest nokia centre,they will give u accurate information......

Hi,dudukrack;the installation log doesn"t take u a lot of space ,ur commy got 80 mb internal memory ma.... and if u clear the log,when something happen to ur sw,u cannot easily remove it and u running sw will not be stable(i try b4),if u still want to remove it ,u can try this method(i try b4 and works)
remove ur sim card and mmc card,insert other service provider "s sim card and other mmc,run the phone ,after several minutes,remove the battery,change back to ur own sim card and mmc,u will find all the installatio log cleared.
IN my country,there was no free push mail yet...
dunno hear any rumours,just liase with ur nearest nokia centre,they will give u accurate information......

thanks man for the reply, i already found out how to clear the log completely without removing the sim card, i just used the file manager, allow system folder/files to be seen, look for the folder install, then look for the log file, it will have the list of softwares you installed, but be careful if you will do this, anyways backup first, i tested it myself and it works, and also if you look at the apps folder in the system folder, you'll see alot trash files left by uninstalled programs..

the push mail that i was talking about is through the use of wifi, ive been using one in my laptop, the software is poppeeper, try to check that in google, im looking for the same program for the 9500 cause it uses wifi right? im using yahoo mail so you need to pay if your going to push mail, but the software that im saying is that when your using wifi, the program automatically logs you in your mail account and get the files.

i dont have time to visit them, and i guess they would just tell me that they dont have any ideas about it, is there any 9500 club or groups here? they should start a petition for the improvement of the 9500 commys.. we want our updated firmware nokia! :iphonepost:
