vlc player is little bit slow thats y i use sib its great

You forgot to mention that SIB actually is a front end for MPlayer which handles the plugins and all.

here [Only registered and activated users can see links] you can find how to set SiB player displaying Cyrillic subs correctly. Please check if you can use it as amending code for polish subs.
