Hi ...

I am planning to upgrade my PC and for that I am going to buy Intel i3 processor along with DDR3 4GB RAM (1333Mhz).., I have 2 SATA HDDs already with an ATX cabinet, so I guess I wouldn't worry about cabinet as I would be looking for an ATX Supported motherboard..

I googled for Gigabye and Intel motherboards online, but couldn't find a suitable one or may be I am too much confused.. What could be the best for me if someone can suggest please.

I have a DVD writer with IDE pins so I am looking for a single slot of IDE ..

Also I am a bit confused about few intel motherboards as it's stated that i3 processors have built in Display chip in them however I don't know whether I would still need an extra video card to put in my motherboard or only that processor chip would be enough..

Any suggestion is appreciated..

Thanks.

socket type of i3 is 1156 [ if im right , not sure ]
use that in your searches

me , i prefere Asus

this one seems to match [ thoroughly check it before buying ]

if a MoBO has on-board graphic [ connector on rear panel ] then you dont need a card
but even then , its better to use a card anyway
[ a cheap one if your not a gamer ]

i3 only calculates the info from the card , its not a card itself

amount of memory on a video-card is not crucial for gaming , speed is
go for a recent version nvidia-based card
i cannot suggest , there are so many
just google around and pick one you can affort
dont care about brand , if its nvidia its ok
[ 9 , gt , gts ]
leave the CD in the box ,just use the driver from nvidia-site
