No offence to anyone just trying to qoute those Dummies books that you can find at any major book store.

Anyway as you know by now this thread is for people who are unsure about how to install those Ngage games which they download from this forum, into their phone.

without further ado, i shall begin...


First off....pick a game...any game.
in this case i'll choose my favourite of all "Asphalt". That's a kick ass game.

As you can see on the pic below i highlighted and circled in red the RAR file of the game

If you don't know what a RAR file at this point, don't worry I'll explain some other time but for now just know that its a compression file type.
you will need an application called WINRAR to open and view whats inside
if you don't have it already, you can get it by searching "Winrar" on the NET

for those of you who know what a rar file is just double click it and you will get a screen like this the one below

It may seem confusing with some games but try to locate the system folder inside the maze of folders within the RAR file......

In simple English....keep clicking all those folders till you get a screen like the one below

Next....please connect your phone to your computer if it's not already connected......................................

Your computer should detect the phone and a box like the one below will appear............

Double click on the "Open Folder to view files in windows explorer"
option and you should get a window like the one below

Now comes the final part !!!
What you really want to do is to click and drag the "System" folder in the RAR file , into your Phone.........as shown below

Now upon doing the above , your computer will prompt you that the folder Exist and wether you wish to overwrite it. Choose "yes to all"



Tada !!!! You have successfully installed Asphalt !!!!!!!! This method should work with other games as well. Its NOT the best and only method, but its one method that is easy and works !!!!!!! feel free to ask me any questions.I'm not an expert but i'll try my very best to help..........

that's not very correct to do so...
u can click and drag the whole system file but only when you have no other games or apps in your mmc..will be much betta if you get the completed libs by dmoe and just click and drag the 6RXX file into the mmc..

the most hardest part will extracting the file, cos it will be abit confusing..asphalt is quite easy since u dun have to unpack it...

when you choose to overwrite de system folder of F: drive. isn't the excisting files /games/apps also overwritten?

Yeah It'll overwrite all existing data but non of the important ones........

It's obvious that who ever uploaded these games , copied the game out from his or her phone. logically , only the game files (eg. 6676 , 66r4 etc etc.....) and the libs folders and any other folders needed to run the game properly would be in the System folder right ???? So hence by using my method, The only type of files you'll probably risk overwriting is those in your Libs folder , game folders and any other program folders that is required by the game.In any case , whats really important in your phone is your Contacts , Messages , Ringtones , Pics , Music & Videos. I've put all this into consideration and using my method wouldn't cause you to lose all your data.

Besides..........I already said that this is not the BEST method but its ONE method...

True !! The toughest part is Extracting the game from the compressed RAR file.In fact , I was thinking about doing a tutorial on Extracting RAR data, but I'm abit busy.Anyway, just to cover myself with a lame excuse, this thread is only for INSTALLATION and not EXTRACTION , I think i pretty much explained myself. :D

PC suite never works on my sys........i use bluetooth to transfer stuff.....but i could never work it up to get my MMC on explorer in the PC

i use bluetooth for transfers to but when i transfer the n-gage games on to my n6600 it apperas unknow file format. i think its beacouse of blz.
i´ve searchd for a blz installer in the forum but i couldn´t find one.
coulde someone plz give the link to dowload a blz instaler? i would really apreciate.

i don't have a mmc reader.

i use bluetooth to transfer files to my fone and install them cos PC Suite never worked on my PC

if it's a .blz file, good. all i have to do is send it to my fone and install it with blzinstapp

but it is a n-gage ready game, i have to transfer all files to the fone and then move them one after the other into respective folders using fexplorer or seleq

does anybody have a solution to shorten this tedious process??

Is it possible to install N-Gage Games on the SX1 which have the ending .blz like "tomb.blz" ?

yes it will work but ngage games are limited models compatibility, meaning not all games can work properly.. like CrashNokia, the colors are messed up in my N6600.. if you like to install games.. better search first and it is important u read the comments given by other members if the game can work properly in their mobiles.. in that case u can get info with different people using different models and installing different games..

about deleting..
just delete the files and folders you've copied in ur mmc..

thanx m8y i was a little confused by another walkthru on how to get ngage on my phone before but now it seems easier.

so when i send a n-gage ready game file like fifa 2005, i have to send the systems folder to my phone, ( using bluetooth ) , and use Fexplorer, to cope the system file into my systems folder? can some give us bluetooth users a tutorial guide? thnx!

no.. the original mmc for ngage games... READ-ONLY... cannot be overwrite... if u delete the files it will lost forever...

it'd be secret... copy apps to system/apps and libs to sytem/libs...

i have the same problem with spiderman 2 too.the game loads from intro to everything but when it's gamestart the screen goes black. someone posted about this but no one answered. i'm using 6630 fw v. 3.45.113

hi! i followed d instruction uve given & i manage to extract it until i arrived on system files but d problem is evrytime i try to transfer it to my mmc using card reader, winrar diagnostic appears & says that i need to create a disk on d next volume. how can i do this.

Unless you dun have any important stuffs in your mmc,dun copy the system folder into the root drive of your card or else all is lost,dun know now if there is any ways to port ngage roms properly into mmc card,hope some genius can crack the egg.

The problem is definitely not your MMC card size or brand.....let me see......you recently just upgraded your MMC card ??? If yes then did you reinstalled all the applications again or you simply just copy everything from the old MMC card to the new ????

Don't Fret if that isn't the case, I believe the problem should go if you uninstall and reinstall all applications again..this is so that the phone will reregister all those applications again and in doing so hopefully it'll rectify the problem of the phone not being able to detect the app.

Please keep me posted on the situation and please understand that i'm stuck in the army on weekdays and can only reply secretly

I have a printer that reads different types of memory cards ( Canon MultiPASS MP390 All-in-One Printer ), and was wondering if that would work as a mmc card reader/writer?

One more question, is this tutorial used to install only 1 game on the N-Gage? Or multiples?

@lunasicc if your printer can read your mmc card then it serves as a card reader. i use my printer too.

this tutorial is for installing all ngage games. they are all installed in the same way even if theere are more then one.

Hi, I read this post and I want to thank you guys a lot, but I have one problem. After successfullying installing a few games on my N-Gage QD, there are a few games that after dragging the "System" folder, instead of overwriting, it copys a "System" folder inside of the original "System" folder. When this happens, I am unable to play that certain game. So far it happened to Splinter Cell : Chaos Thoery and King Of Fighters. I haven't tried any other games but those are the ones I've tested that create their own "System" folder inside another "System" folder. Any solutions to this problem guys?

Ok. i know how to install ngage games,but what whit those that are simple sis
games that have 2 or 3 mb(angelfish)?.When you try to install,it says,you dont have enough memory.Phone is Ngage.
There is no way to install it directly to mmc, it first goes to the memory of the phone,and then ask you where you wanna instal it?

I tried install part 1 of a ngage game and i tried to open it through fe explorer

yes you must install all parts at once using the card reader. just overwrite the data.

I need some help, I got a 512 card and a card reader, and so what I did was drag a couple of ngage games into the memory card and then put my memory card back in but when i try to open the game app it says system Error , do I have ti install it through the phone like what you guys are saying or is there another solution to fixing the problem?

it must be through card reader. are you shure if you installed i correctly? and which phone do you use? some ngage games are not compatible with certain phones.

no you must use blzinstapp to install blz files. there is no other way. anyway those types of files are not used anymore. team blizzard never realesed no more games.

You can copy and paste system folder into the root of your MMC card. Very easy!!! Try a gain!!!

when using a card reader the rooth of the mmc its the first set of folders that appears on th windows explorer. you must change your view options on the explorer to view hidden files. the system folder is hidden thats why you can´t see it.

I now you probably hear this all the time but thanks allot man, and yeah im an idiot so you dont have to say it, but one day hopefully Ill become an expert at this stuff

OK, but I still have the problem of not being able to play the games, let me start from the beggining, I have a 1gb mmc card and it doesnt have anthing on it, I click on veiw hidden folders it doesnt show any hidden folders to show the root of the mmc but it doesnt show any folders, now when i copy and paste a game folder into the card it doesnt ask to overwrite anything, and when i try to open it on my ngage phone, it says something like system error or memory full, I open the game through Fe Explorer, but it wont open, so whats going on here???!??!?!

who ever wrote this thread is really a dummy.... why ovewrite a system folder? that would erase all ur system files, and considering the fact that ull onlyinstall one game
