you maybe don't know about torrents or magnet links, I guess.
well, you need to click the hyperlink where it says, and download the torrent, txt or magnet file
then get a P2P client that will download file using it - uTorrent is popular.
Or downloading app such as Free Download Manager has BitTorrent support

To those that are complaining about a missing game icon, i had the same problem. The workaround i used was to reinstall the game but to check the 'run after finish' option and the game finally appeared in my playbook as it should. I am refering to etreme tux racer and fruits & ninja in my case.

Modern Combat is alright, I had problems with Samurai II too ..

I figured out how to fix the errors when installing

rename the bar to .zip
extract
remove any thumbs file and recompress as zip, rename to .bar and try that

this is what i do on my mac and ALL the bars i had errors with are working now

That's alright if you don't find a thumbs file, just repack it and try again.

hi, if you try transfering your files to your playbook it wont work.
you need to download DDPB installer.
set your playbook to devoloper mode.
choose the games you want
press install

SmashBob (lol cool name) it wouldn't work for OS 1.0.8 because 1.0.8 does not have the Android Player and the Order&Chaos I shared is an android app converted to a .bar file. Only OS 2 will be able to play this file since it has Android Player... and still it might not work due to the restrictions. Good luck!

1) Turn on dev mode on playbook. Go to settings -> security -> dev mode. Turn switch to on, enter password.
2) Install DDPB Installer on your computer (click continue to any errors).
3) Connect Playbook to PC with usb. Turn off wifi on playbook.
4) Run DDPB, click refresh, it will get your dev ip (169.254.0.1). Enter your playbook password.
5) Click add, find the .bar file you downloaded.
6) Click check all.
7) Click install. Wait for the pop-up that says done.
8) Enjoy!

Delete all Thumbs.db files from your .bar. They shouldn't be in there.

Nope we cant update the sideloaded apps via app world, You will have to wait till someone uploads a updated bar file of the app.

rename the bar to zip.
look for any files named thumbs should be thumbs.db i think.... its definetly called thumbs.
delete the thumbs file zip the files back up and open it with winzip then go to save as and name it samuri.bar.. .bar being the most important part lol then just reinstall and it should work. :)

Rename the bar to zip n extract the zip folder. Look through the folders for thumbs file delete it, some apps have more than 2 thumbs folder so look through all the folders. After you delete thumbs, select mata and native folder make a zip out of it. Last step rename the zip to bar sideload and it will definitely work.

Make sure you have enough space left in ur playbook all those HD games take up a lot of space. If you still cant install try other installer. If ur not on OS 2.0 try LocalBar app.

Thanks. I did see this before. Was able to get the game i wanted, though it only works on os1.xx and crashes on os2 (same goes for the samurai game)

just to add to that link, if you add store to the front (i.e store.playbookapps) it comes up with a easier UI in case anyone has trouble with the spreadsheet format
