when i instal icons in my 7610 some of em don't work...Why??when i clik on em don't happen nothing!

Coz sysicon is not work on 7610, this appz for symbian OS 6 only not symbian 7 or 8 , nokia 7610 already have themes on it :twisted:

i know how to read, 'coz nokia 3650, 7650, ngage, ngageQD is using OS Symbian Platform I, and nokias 6600, 7610, etc are using OS Symbian Patform II.. wondering if somebody got tried to it..

Question for you, why is it, Windows XP icon for ngage work with nokia6600?? a lot of this site's member are not accomodating.. they are being subjectuve to their superiority.. not good for you guys..

You can install sysiconz to 7610 if... You have a card reader to edit the folders the app creates. If not then no joy and possibly a non working phone ! Install to mmc . Then remove mmc to card reader on pc. Open all new folders that sysiconz creates and delete all files within except .aif file .Rename .aif file by removing the xx before app name. Repeat for folder name also. Also delete folders that are not present on 7610.Next delete sysiconz app folder from e\system\apps. Put card back and turn on phone... New icons ! For this already done get your xp 7610 at page22 "ngage games icon make by naoei and didoenk" topic in symbian games.. Tried and tested by me on 7610...It works :-)

a cool trick to change ur iconz without need to restart ur phone..

1. choose ur set of iconz..when it ask to reboot choose 'no'..then exit the app

2. press the menu button

3. select option (left key) and choose exit (if u press exit on the right side then nothing happen)

4. press the menu button again..tadaa all ur iconz have change 8)

cool eh?plz try this cuz i notice restarting the phone use quite a lot of batt power..

Some said it had worked on SX1 and some said no...
Honestly, i don't think so because it was created speccially for Nokia OS6 phones to regain the themes fault, althought SX1 is a symbian phone too :?

for the pack mentioned above the menu icon is different from the one in the screenshot isn't it..the rest r cool..only the menu icon is different..it uses microsoft icon..does this happens to u?

It's not from the xp pack menu icon, it's from the previous you've installed.
In my case, it's the citrus zone pack :)
About new packs, i think there is some more but all old ones.
But it's better you go to my forum to check it by yourself. :wink:

@kenja , the version i've posted in this topic is the most recent one.
To uninstall it correctly, first, you need to uninstall the pack you're using and then, after you restart your phone you can unistall sysiconz app

hi mate, is this work if we didn't install sysicon into our device.but only copy the icon pack into the system folder??

coz i've try to install it on Ngage & 3650 b4.

why does it show real one icon i click on it and it says system error ? i installed this on my QD

guys i have a problem with sysiconz, it worked perfectly b4, but since yesterday when i try to change iconpacks, the icons will not change.
i searched in fexplorer, and found out that the iconpack was not installed in e:system/apps, but instead it is inside the system folder( e:system/freakappctrl,etc...)
what could be the cause of this?
i have tried uninstalling and installing sysiconz but the result still the same

I also encountered your problem after formatting my MMC using MCFixer. Format Your MMC using phone or PC and try again.

Well this kind of problem i encounter on my QD before but it's ok....but u try icon theme that been posted by Dunker at wallpaper and icon section.br

its not a virus.. it just becoz the skull virus using the same method to disable other function in phone and changing the icon to skull... it is not a virus... its how the stupidity of some known antivirus company who dont know anything about symbian phone.

the sysiconz application cant make shortcuts to real player, apps and recorder so the creator made duplicate icons instead of shortcuts. then u can simply hide the original icons in a folder.

god this thread one of the oldest threads here still on bumping :D sysicons new pack why dont you try to find in symbian themes section for s60 "kurz" made many packs for OS 6.1.

No it will not..however if i am wrong it may works but you can use a proper Theme for 6630 which is far more better than "sysicons"
