I HAVE A GRIFFIN BOX GOLD WHICH WAS ACTIVATED AND I USE VERSION 2.085
I INSTALLED V2.086 FROM SOME WEBSITE AND IT SAID BAD ACTIVATION STATUS. I UNINSTALLED THAT AND PUT MY ORIGINAL 2.085 BACK ON AND NOW IT SAYS BAD ACTIVATION STATUS.
THE SN DOES NOT COME UP ANYMORE.
I CANT ACTIVATE IT COS IT SAYS ERROR.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

check your conncetions, paralell cable

u must update ur griffin box 1stbefore u use the latest that provided by griffinteam

download your personal update at [Only registered and activated users can see links] if you are know your box serial,

if you don't kow your box serial then simply upload any file on box updeate when u run the 2.086 and it will show your serial

you got 16 number yes of coure

mean if your box 044330044330

so your box serial is 044330

just copy the first or last eight digit and paste at the login
that all

all it says is all the registrations that were made on this box.

hey nav u will need to download the personal update gul file.which is available for download for one time only....go [Only registered and activated users can see links] n get the update..and then upload the gul file to ut box..ur box will be alright..

i cant get the update.
i put in my sn and all i see is a list of people who have same sn.
there is no gul file to download

i got an original griffin and i am allowed to update my box with a personal update from the server only once. the next time i enter my serial number, griffin says that it should do some manual verification. Cool.
Now my friend owes a clone griffin and its ver 2.85. he could not download personal update before. but after hving registered with griffin, he realised that there was another 3 user with the same serial number. Bizarrely, now griffin is giving him access to personal update which he did not update following my request.
I think griffin is killing clone box. though the registration, griffin knows which box has been clone and is providing fakes update to tem. make a test: try to down personal update more than once. if griffin is giving u access to it more than once, then there is a problem somehwere. as to know whether your bos is clone check oit at the griffin server. let me knoe if u need help

maybe you should try to contact your reseller.
i had the same problem, i sent e-mail to griffin, and he asked me to contact my reseller.
then i asked my reseller, and he help me.

Griffin 2.086. I have lost my Griffin Box's S/N coz of installing
Griffin 2.087, so I really need it to get my S/N.
