That's true.
The only way to get radio in your 6600 it's through gprs...
Search for Avec Radio. It's posted here in the forum

I have an FM Radio, that works through my headset without an internet connection but I think it is only working on SX1! But if you want I can post it. Maybe someone can make it work on other symbian phones?

This is the Radio wich comes with the SX1 but I don't think that it will work on other phones without editing it! Maybe someone can do that? By the way you need a headset that can be used as an antenna! Without it the app can't receive the radio-signals!

no software can make a 6600 or a 7610 have fm radio

you can buy a fm radio handsfree (from nokia) or use gprs or get an mp3 player with fm!

yup, you're right...plenty of 3rd party accessories around that support the 7610 pop port interface as well as the 6600's 2.5mm jack. I got myself one a while back...and never bothered with gprs radio again =)

its already been sai here that the only way to have radio when its not built-in the phone its through gprs connection. search the forum for the apps.
