i think it would be better to organize apps and games.. or change the forum category "Fun, Entertainment...." into Members Collections.. like Application Collections, includes both Utility App and Multimedia App..

About the Games Collections, includes all JAVA, SIS, MGS, etc.. and for the Nokia Apps/Games forum, all request should be done there. though you can request in the Apps and Games collections, The Nokia Apps/Games are use to discuss the apps to be uplaoded..

This is my suggestion only.. you can ignore it if you dont like it.. im a moderator in 2 forums before and my job to organize threads..

the nokia games and apps section has already been atributted to s30/40 games and for that purpose only so it has been seperated from the symbian 60 apps and games sections.

well youre post is a bit confusing but what i understood of it you´re saying that we should make the apps/games section a place for requests and discussion. isn´t that right?

im not asking you to do it.. maybe for the Admin and SuperAdmin who runs the site. what i mean is organize the topic as application for SX1, UIQ, S80, S90, s60 for OS1&2 and make it as an announcement and others are sticky.. dont have to find all apps and just create new topics and post new apps there..

neither i was saying that i should do it (and i can´t anyway :) ) i was just trying to understand what was you´re suggestion because you´re first post wasn´t very clear.
now i understand better. i agree that at least a uiq section should be created but a suggestion like that was already made some time ago and the mods took it to the discusson boead and no conclusion has been made so i guess theres nothing to do.
about dividing the aplications acording to the platform they have it would be more organized no doubt. maybe something can be done about that.

coz' theres a lot of announcement made.. some seems non topic related. and some sticky topic have one post and you get 17 pages of reply just thanks. i dunno what some people here thinks.. they can say thanks but doing a comment much better.. anyways, thanks for the reply. better to wait for the development of this site for the betterment of the members..

yeah especially on symbian games section there are lots of anouncements and stickys mainly with n-gage games.
the thx problem however will never be solved because people will continue to post thx no matter what we say so its impossible to make a topic only with downloadable files.
the only way was to a moderator to make such a topic and close it so that no one else besides mods could post there. there are such posts in symbian games and thats the way it should be but it would require a tremendous amount of work by all the mods to collect all the files.

i agree with you. i think its better to create a new topic created by a moderator and lock it as you've said so only moderators of that forum can post.. in that case wherever they request app the moderator or other member just give the link only and if he wants to give thanks he just go to his topic and say thanks who gives the link.. 'coz some goo uplaoded files should be in one great topic for the members easily found their wanted apps or games..
