2 start off we need 2 make a "Screensavers" dir in C:\system, then you need 3 files in that directory :


1. "BmpAnimScrPlugin.ini" and that file contains this Code:

2. "BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm" this file you can make on your own with MBM Wizard wich you can find on Downloads section on this site here.

3. "BmpAnimScrPlugin.sc" this file i can send you if you PM me.

When you put all those 3 files in C:\system\Screensavers dir you will get a new screensaver!

Here are all 3 files you need, just create a Screensavers dir in C:\system and copy all 3 files to that dir, then restart your mobile.

Go 2 Themes-> Edit-> Screen Saver and you should get 3, one called TIM(offcourse you can change name of screensaver) just select it and wait.

I used FExplorer i sent the files by Bluetooth to phone I marked and copyed them using FExplorer and pasted them to e:\system\screensaver. Then at Themes I pressed edit and choosed the screensaver.

Can someone post MBM wizard I cant find it

Found one on the site but when I run it I get:

"Component 'ComDLG32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or is invalid"

I'm running WInXP, all I got is the RAR file and in it there is only the mbmwizard.exe

Can anyone post a working one?

Also as far as the Screensavers go I tried Floro, got it here, it runs good for a few seconds, then the TimeandDate Screensaver comes back and replaces Floro... Is this normal? Using 6630.

Does this even work on 6600 ?? i only get app closed screensaver every time it tries to run

symbian OS7, coz in symbian OS6 didn't hv a folder call screen saver.

you cant have the Winxp screensavers option in the themes.. and if put in this way

E:/System/Screensavers/3 files
you can have the option and can select the WinXp screensaver but it comes with App closed..

any suggestion??..

I'm not getting one thing. In order to choose a new screensaver do I have to delete the old one?for example if I have floro rite now and i want to change to matrix.then what do i do?

i think this one works in OS7 only..

to choose a screensaver, go to theme, clect a theme, then choose edit. you can see there screensaver, u will have there the 2 default screensaver of ur mobile. if you put this correctly, you can see there 1 new screensaver, just choose it or you can preview it. if app closed came, no luck at this time to make it work..

i think as for now there is no possibility.. 'coz it uses one folder and cannot shared the other files. i like to patch it in my N6600 so it will work. working for that til now.. regards :D

This is for creating MBM file:
1. open mbmwizard :lol:
2. in left side of window select jpg or bmp you want (or more of them)
3. When you select yours jpgs or bmps click "Add selected as" but before you click that select the number of colours you want to use c stands for colour.
4. when you select what you want click that "Add selected as"
5. now in the center of window you will see jpgs or bmps you add
6. if you want to save those jpgs or bmps as mbm file (mbm is like gif) go to File-Save As and choose the name and place to save mbm file and click Save. And voila that is it! :wink:

This is for creating bmp out of mbm file:
1. open mbmwizard :lol:
2. Go to ( :lol: this reminds me to BASIC command) File-Import then a new window pops up select .mbm file u want to convert and click Open
3. in center of window select the picture or all of them(with Select All) you want to convert to bmp
4. then click Save selected as bmp
5. a new window pops up choose the place to save and click Save. And that is all folks :lol:

And this is not a trick this is a plugin from TIM for 6630, there is probably a same plugin from TIM on other s60 mobiles this thing is in z:/System/Screensavers so if anybody have a TIM mobile phone s60 (6600, 6670 etc.) just send me that files that are in this dir. but dont forget to say on wich mobile you do this. :wink:

Weird thing, It was working on my 6630, I got the FLORO screensaver from here. But ever sinc eI changed my memory card (got a bigger one) it doesnt work anymore. I only get the TIM screensaver always.... I tried erasing the screensaver Folder from c:\system\screensaver, then re-created it and sent the FLORO files again.. but it still doesnt work, I used to get the FLORO name in my screensavers list, now I got 2 TIM names, and they are both TIM screensavers not FLORO. Can anyone Help?

the easiest way to using that .gif as screensaver is just use POWER LOCK software.

will any of these methods work for the Nokia 6680? I am really wanting something different as a screensaver, the default Orange one is awful.

Why not your use PowerLock to activate the screensaver??

i find that this method is much better than "Power Lock". power lock is always on,battery consumption is high. from the .ini,user is able to adjust the running time,which is so great for me. further more,u can select the screen saver in ur theme. thanks dude for sharing this,i appreciate it very much. :)

i m using 7610,when i replace 'light' with other value (except 0), the screensaver doesnt work. i guess 7610 cant switch on the light when screensaver is activated. any idea? pls share :)
