I'm a new member and I think this site is great in several ways, but as with everything it could be better.

Some of the forums seems redundant or poorly categorized. For example, I would prefer the Nokia section be organized by Series 40, Series 60, etc. I believe grouping multiple series together by model number like it is now makes it harder to focus on certain aspects of the phones.

I've also seen a lot of people with s60 phones requesting games and apps in the s40 section. If it's possible, it might be a good idea to require members to specify which phone model they have and restrict them to topics related to that phone. If that seems too restrictive, you could offer an option to view topics for all phones if the user requests it.

There are also a lot of users clueless about how to install games or update software. A tutorial section would seem like a perfect way to combat that problem.

As mentioned in another post, an index of the uploaded files would be very nice. I'm willing to work on that, but I need support from the moderaters.

Hi welcome to the forum and cheers for your suggestions. Some sections are already divided into s40 and others s60. I see your point about the nokia sections as yes you have s30 ,s40 and s60 falling into the same section on some parts. To restrict viewing/access dependant on phone would not work and as the sections mentioned above are now divided that area not such a problem. Lastly i have answered your post on the other topic. Enjoy your stay here mate :-) br , dmoe

yes you´re suggestion is quite apropriate my friend. i think the section that needs more atention is nokia phones section because it is a very general section and the topics posted there can be posted on more specified sections.
also a tuturial section is essencial and it would be very usefull.
you can be shure that me and the other mods will discuss this with forum administrator.
welcome to the forum :) br

A tutorial section really is not needed mark 6600... For ngage many tutorials are here as are for attaching .app files for cracked games/apps. Just looking on relevant section or short search will reveal all necessary info. For installing java and sis you will find instructions in the phones manual on how to install. The other points are valid regarding Nokia section and yes will be addressed.:)

One thing everyone should remember is a lot of users somehow "forget" to search and post useless questions anyway. I still think it would be convenient to have a tutorial section and encourage users to search for answers before posting. Maby a global sticky could be used for that purpose.

i agree with you dmoe but remember the problem techweenie just pointed out. most users don´t bodder searching the topics for how to install games or other stuff so they go right their and post questions.
i think there is no need for tutorial of n-gage games has there are already many topics of how to do it but tutorials for other stufs like how to install a game using card reader or bluettoth or a topic for how to install all those complicated psiloc apps, stuff like that can save a lot of trouble to the users as well as for all of us mods.
