IM+ for Series 60 phones is a complete mobile Instant Messaging solution.

IM+ supports MSN , ICQ, AOL, Yahoo! and Jabber messenging systems.

You have one client for several services : ICQ, AOL , MSN and Jabber
File transfer through ICQ and AOL with other IM+ Clients. Receive files from MSN-Software users. Send files to icq lite and ICQ pro 2002/2003 software users.
Exchange Instant MMS with IM+ for Windows or other IM+ for Series 60 users. You can save money in comparison to normal MMS, since you pay only the less expensive internet traffic.
IM+ makes direct connection to the supported services, without any "gate" in the middle. It's very important; because it means that you connected to your favourite services as a full rights user and get all the messages and events immediately just as if you were connected with the standard client.
IM+ keeps the contact list information on the respective servers. So, IM+ and your convenient desktop client always use just the same contact list. E.g if you add new buddy to your contact list with IM+, you will see this user in your contact list when you connect with your desktop client next time.

Such a common function of IM yet still not available.

Looks like everyone is very THANKFUL to the poster for the software. Well, yes, thank you for the effort. But no one is really addressing any of their posted questions...

What I wanna find out before downloading is,
1. How different is this with Agile?
2. Agile cannot support multiple login with 1 single service (ie. 2 MSN accounts), will this do?
3. Agile seems like taking up quite a bit of system resources, is this lighter?
4. Agile is not really that customizable, such as that ugly sounding recording beep.. and volume of the alert.. not even talking about advanced stuff like skinning.. how about this one?


As for the people who can't get this running, the first one I would question is, DO YOU HAVE GPRS service? If you are charged by bit by bit, then you should really think about before running this, cuz its a great toy, but if you ain't paying Flat Rate GPRS, forget about it.

I am running Sunday GPRS @ Hong Kong, Flat Rate. So basically I have the GPRS running all day. Still experimenting with the Battery... cuz my Agile sucked up all the juice after 40 minutes of chatting.

My 2 Cents.

well the BIG difference is that it establishes direct connection without any GATWAY in between so it does not show to ur contacts that u are online VIA mobile ;) unlink AGILE

people who have problem with this version might want to try the im+ wap version which is java based.The best thing about it is, that it does not require mobile internet,it works perfectly on the gprs wap connection with all clients ,and the bad thing is that,its a demo version limited to 3 messages.Hope it gets cracked soon.

As like you having same problem.
but solve by using turbomsn v1.9.
i believe you using v1.7.
Upgrade it to solve you problem.

You need an Internet Connect for your phone, one with the Internet Gateway, and not the WAP GPRS to get this working.

If neither will work, check with your SP that the APN you are suscribed to allows full net access. U can test this out by trying to access an external web site from your phone such as this site

Further to the above, to any user who experiences a time out when connecting all of the time or any other random comment when you are connecting check the above comments with your service providor. By the sounds of earlier comments this will not work with the NGage QD or the 6600.

This version does not work on my Nokia 6681:Trial expired error.Some other users also got this problem. I still don't understand why it works on some machines and on some not.IM 5.03 is running fine though...
