NiceClock is a screensaver, made in a style of pocket watch, and having an option of appearance modification, as well as alarm clock and organizer; has a built-in voice informer.

This version of NiceClock was specially designed for mobile phones Series 60. It is multifunctional software product, having unique features and accentuating the individuality of the owner. NiceClock is a screensaver, made in a style of pocket watch, and having an option of appearance modification, as well as alarm clock and organizer. The Device has a built-in voice informer, which informs about current date and time, and about different events on demand of user.

The patch doesn't work fine on my 6630. :cry:

Anyone got it to work without having to format after ? Most voice based apps are trouble and best avoided. Too many more bad posts about this app and i will remove it from the forum...

it worked on my 6600..except error when i attempt to change Style and Agend options..it really is a nice one..thanks again nokia6630...Kind Regards

guys..... if it worked at 1st wait and reboot ur fone and u won't be able 2 go 2 ur menu items again so u have 2 format ur phone as Dmoe said

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On behalf of VerySoft company, author of NiceClock, I'd like to inform you that using this "patch" you have very good chance to format your phone. The patch is just a cracked version of application for Siemens SX1 and NOT designed to work under any Nokia phone. Original distributive does automatical configuration under phone model and only properly adjusted app is installed. The patch doesn't know anything about it. Original distributive does NOT have the problems described here, this is official.

The cracked application will never work properly under any model of phone. But risk of phone damage is minimal under SX1. As for Nokia v7 (6600, 6620, 6670, 7610...), please be ready to see the funny message during startup:

Phone startup failed; Contact retailer

We don't ask you to purchase the original version, it's your choice, and only yours. But if you like your phone, please NEVER install this crack, as well as any cracks for any application at all. Smartphones are much more sensitive to damaged applications than, for example, your PC. Please never...never...never do it. Please also note that nobody can guarantee normal work of your phone even after patch is removed.

The following bugs of cracked version were found by us after installing it on Nokia 6670:

1. Application crashes permanently - on startup, on menu, on alarm, on style changing, on sound profile changing (Silence mode) etc etc etc.

2. Styles can't be changed even if you were able to reach this menu item without crash (that's not easy). Appication crashes when you try to change the style.

3. Voice fragments are not cracked - it plays musical fragment randomly (feature of trial version).

4. Voice fragments are being played with "clicks". This is because Nokia and SX1 players are different, so SX1 version will never properly work with Nokia media server and this may cause crash too.

5. Cracked version was distributed to many places, some of distributions have the virus trojan.scull

Items 1-4 were found during first 5 mins of testing, after that application was removed. So we guess the list of problems is much greater. Again, original distributive has no such problems, and we are not responsible for any problems and damages caused by "cracked" version.

I do agree with Dmoe, but it did work on my friends nokiq 6600 the first version i guess 3.27 or 72 i am not sure.......after reading all the above i guess voice based are better avoided like Dmoe mentioned...........
