I have unlocked several sagems since buying scdrII but up to now have never had any power up when I inserted the data cable as it says it does in instructions? on most this is ok as the battery is no in the way of the jig but on 2 so far I was uable to power them up as the jig was in the way, is there a reason why my dongle does not power the phones up?

i hawe this same problem no autopower and i must manual power on phone :(and i must use batery from scdr i hawe only 1,2 v

I have been told its a 1 ohm resister in the dongle but dont want to break it apart in case it invalidates warrenty.

This sounds like ur dongle facing hardware problem..i think its better if u bring and repair it in ur available hardware shop..the reason is to have check up on ur dongle mate..
