U can´t install games on Ur memory card. Only to the application folder by Nokia application installer, what´s in Nokia PC suite, or in some other programs (4 example Mobi MB browser). Ur memory 4 games is only about 1 Mb. This memory can´t be bigger. --> uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" --> ok ..

now goto the games file --> xxxx.rar

THE ABBEY OF CRIME.....

This wonderful game, programmed by Paco Menéndez with graphics made by Juan Delcán, let us enjoy too much in a part of our life. In Spain, it is still considered like one of the best games of all times.

It was programmed initially in an Amstrad CPC 6128, because it had more powerful graphics, and it was more easy to convert to SPECTRUM (my FIRST computer!!). The program was made in 128k Spectrum and Amstrad versions, MSX and PC -with digitized voices via speaker-.

It wasn't possible to talk with Umberto Eco, the author of "The Name of the Rose", so the authors of the game decided that it would be called "La Abadía del Crimen" ("The Abbey of crime"). Although this, this title was bright by itself, and even it was during various months in the MicroHobby's sales Top 20, not a normal thing because it wasn't an arcade nor a sports game, and because it was a 128k program.

The program received some awards, like MicroHobby annual awards 1988, to the best programmer (Paco Menéndez), best argument and best graphics (of course!).

to install the nokia pc suite on your pc...
then by using the application install you add the games.
nokia 6230i does not open games directly by coping them.

Your aim in The Evil Mirror is to set free Hugo who has been kidnapped by the evil with Scylla. In 15 levels you take over the role of his three little children Trollerit, Trollerat and Trollerut. The mirror was broken into three pieces and each troll has to find a part to fix the mirror.

The first levels are very simple. With your gun you are able to freeze your enemies after you have shot them some seconds. If they are frozen finally, you have to fire at them again to push them down the platforms. The iced enemy will sliver into 1000 of pieces. If they are already at the very bottom you can lift them up and carry them one platform up. Leaving a frozen enemy alone too long, it defrosts and starts to walk around again. After an enemy is killed he loses coins which gain you points after you have collected them.
It is also possible to fuse ice cubes by dropping them on top of each other. Fused ice cubes have to fall two platforms before they are smashed. To succeed a level all enemies have to be killed. In later levels there are gates where enemies appear after you have killed one. You should freeze those gates first before you go on.

There are several kinds of enemies which vary The Evil Mirror: some are quite stupid and can only move on one platform. Getting them frozen is very easy. Some are able to jump and can block your icy flash. To get them frozen you have to approach from the back. Others are armored and throw spears. The AI could have been improved a bit. It look like most of the enemies run around without an aim.

A bar at the top of the screen displays your energy. If you are out of energy you are Game Over and you annoyingly have to restart the whole game. The Evil Mirror automatically saves if you leave the game; you can resume to a later date.

The control of the young heroes is quite simple and uncomplicated. Beginners will grapple with it. Negative is that your troll scandalizes on smaller platforms from time to time if you jump. The graphic is ok though a bit monotonous. Some sound live up the game; music is missing.

All in all, The Evil Mirror is nothing in particular. The game is challenging though pros will not have problems to get through it. To all Platform and Jump'n Run fans I can recommend this game though.

Getting our hands on the mobile version of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series has been one of the highlights of the Leipzig Games Convention.

But while we're happy to enthuse about our time with the game and the related chat we had with Konami producer Axel de Roug? (we'll be publishing a full interview soon so click 'Track It!' to get an email alert), it's great to be finally able to share the first screenshots.

For one thing, they clearly show the amount of time and effort the Paris-based development team has taken in giving this 2D Java game the Pro Evo look.

In addition to the well defined players, extra touches include pitch-side detail such as the coaches' area, weather conditions (rain and snow), and extend to the patterns of the way the grass has been cut, of which there are five examples. And when you score a goal, the net will ripple, too.

Despite this level of attention, though, something that's harder to show from these screenshots is the quality of player animations. They're one of the most important technical aspects of the game, as they link deeply into the fluid nature of the controls.

Indeed, so important where they considered that the decision was made to concentrate on animations over and above the game's graphics, with each separate animation consisting of up to nine individual frames.

It's something best shown up in close-up, as these cropped high-resolution screens of various players in motion demonstrate. We especially like the evil sliding tackle from behind and the resulting 'kicked up in the air' look.

I changed the resolution and unlocked for us. ;) Oh yeah and i changed to english the language.

for all map and car you have to win in carrier mode, but you don't have to buy it.

Nice one! Can I ask you a question how did you change the resolution in this game? Iwould like to do that in some other games... of course if it's not a secret :)

It's not secret. But this method doesn't work with every game.

Simply i unpacked the whole game into a directory and I decompiled every .class files into their sourcecode. Then i went to search the size of screen in every deompiled file. If you know the original size of game, search that numbers like 176 or 220...

Then you just have to write it into the correct size of your phone. But how to compile it agan? You need some developer kit(java,...) to do that. I don't have any. But if you have a hexeditor you don't need anything else.

You need to know that after compilation of any kind of sourcecode you will see only hexadecimal codes in hexaeditor. So you need to convert some numbers into dec-hex hex-dec.

How to search the original screen size:You have to convert original size to hexadecimal.. Like: dec(176)=hex(b0), dec(208)=hex(d0)

So you have to search 00b0 in the file you found earlier the screen size. it's usually using 2byte long for screen resolution.

(in this (crash arena 3d) game you can find in e.class. after decompilation you can see similar to this according to your decompilation soft:

So search in e.class 00b0 hexadecimal number in hexeditor. it will found two possible value. But if you look around the first found value you can see 00d0 after some byte which means 208 in decimal. so you found the right place. Simply change b0 to d0 and save. Compress it again and upload to your phone.

But as i mentioned before this method can't be use in every kind of game. Older games are specially made for x*y screen size. And for that you need to rewrite every kind of source to be really compatible. If you see a little bit carefully this game.. this method made a small bug in the game. After you pause the game on the top right corner doesn't refresh the small area. it will contain some trash. It is because i made the screen bigger but I doesn't rewrite every kind source.

The other problem what can happen is the pictures size will not match to the new screen size. in this game there is no problem because original was 176*208 and almost every picture compatible with the new screensize(except the top picture which shows the map and speed).

So if you try to mod a more different game you need to change so much thing and you will need developer kits also to compile the new game.
