Attention to all.

Respect the mods work and read the rules for the S40 section.

Due to some conflict between the member and the mods here I will now add this so every one that is visiting this section can read it
Look at this rules for this section and read them careful. They are important if you want your thread to be stayed here.

All of the old files that has no screens now does need to be updated. But from now on all of the files your uploading here must follow the rules for this section.

i have rainbow six lockdown but how do i extract it from my phone to give it to you ?/ post it here?

I would recommend you use MobiMB Mobile Media Browser (which you can easily find on the forum) cos once you've connected your phone you can just open your Games folder with it and simply copy & paste to your PC.
Plus its a nifty piece of software that .. very useful :)

Hope this helps and would be great if you could put the game up on the forum as well .. just add it as an attachment when you post a message.

The folder has a limit. If you pass this limit you get this error. Try to delete soma games that you don't play and do again the installation of the new game.

Darkest Fear

Using dynamic lighting, Darkest Fear defines an entirely new category of mobile games, inviting the player deep into a haunting story of hidden mystery and bitter despair.

Darkest Fear tells the story of a history professor named Thomas Warden, whose wife and daughter are trapped in a darkened hospital filled with monsters. A horrible event changed most of the hospital's patients into ravenous beings of the night, leaving the remaining occupants cowering in fear throughout the labyrinthine building's chambers. Luckily, the monsters can survive only in total darkness, so they don't have the full run of the place just yet; pockets of natural and artificial light--Warden's islands of hope--remain to banish the inky blackness, fry the dread ghouls, and keep the humans alive.

Thanks to yychm for this one.

how come when i send it thru bt it says... not compatible??? im using 6230i...

how do we install these games?

Give some more details on how you actually try to do it... If you're using MobiMB you don't need the jad file, but just the jar-file as the MobiMB has one in its shell. Just drag&drop the game's jar-file onto the MoniMB window at the Games or Applications folder.
Post results.

Hi. dzhun85
U may use Nokia PC suite or mobiMB as locke0637 said.
However, the version posted by him is not the deal 3.1 version (look for the build version in the file ""C:\Program Files\MobiMB Mobile Media Browser\MPBrowser.exe" properties.
I tried this one and it is not fully compatible with N6230i becaus it shows only the games, appz and ringtones folders.
Look here http://www.iphone-forum.org/showthread.php?t=95740 for the full 3.1 version compatible with the 6230i.

If u dont know how to use it, just follow this steps:
- Install the soft (of course ...)
- Install one of the following bluetooth device driver: witcom , microsoft or legacy, becaus they are supported by mobiMB.
- Add a bluetooth connection in mobiMB: Menu File > Settings > Add new connection > BlueTooth connection > (Select one of the mentionned driver)
- Enable ur phone bluetooth connection.

Wait a moment, they may appear in the left exploring panel folders where games appear, double click on nd view ur installed games in the right panel.
Just drag/drop the .jar file in the right panel with other games.

Look for the screen shot, u may drag n drop the .jar file where "Ducati 3d extreme", "Gem jam fever" and other games are.

NB: U must have enough memory or the game/app will not install correctly and u have to delete it to reinstall it.

Does anyone have a cool tetris clone for 6230i? I'm looking for something like gameloft style, with cool graphics, multiple levels and different levels of difficulty.

"... Your mobile phone is a portal into the world of CTU. Your mission begins now. Use your 'spy phone' to control the mission and guide Jack Bauer and other CTU agents through the longest day of their lives.

In "24™", The Mobile Game, you will require the skills of CTU's finest to save the day. With an array of gadgetry and agents at your disposal you must take on a variety of missions. Does anyone have Skipping Stone for 6230i? I heard it became the mobile game of the year 2005 for ign. : D

Just found it over at fullmaza. Tested it on my 6230i and guess what? Running great in full screen! Here you go :)

"Incredibly simple yet utterly compulsive game based upon the age-old game of stone skipping. Take on the role of a small boy skipping a stone on a picturesque stretch of water. Use the power gauge to hurl the stone as far as possible. Then take control of the stone and bounce it as many times as you can.

Encounter hazards along the way including whales, octopuses and tornados. Bounce along through a variety of stunning cartoon environments with a visual feast of crazy backdrops. Challenge yourself to get the best distance or number of splashes in this never ending game."

thanx for all the games.. anyone has a jamdat game compatible for the 6230i? appreciate it

alright, firstly, u have to open my computer, then on the top, go to tools, folder options. then select the 'view' tab, u have to UNCHECK the box where it says 'hide extentions for known file types". now, when u rename, at the end of the file, it should say xxxxxxxxx.zip, then u simply change zip to jar.

hope it helped

@fastcharly: hi, i use the nokia 6280 which has the same operating system as the 6230i (s40v3). v-rally 3d starts off perfecting but when it starts loading after displaying the 'atari' logo an error pops up and says "out of memory". i tried the game on the s40v3 sdk emulator but the same error occurs. i was wondering whether u hav actually played the game, and if u hav, whether there should be a .jad file that u may not hav uploaded. thx!

Just to confirm really... V-Rally 3D n6230i 208*208 works fine on a Noki 6230i for sure. Just tried it, but I'm not impressed with the graphics or the way the car handels either. There are much better racing 3D games for 6230i out there. So... Just an opinion.

By the way...here are three modded versions of previously posted games:

3D Rally
The mod consists in changing the main menu background image to fit the 208x208 screen of the 6230i, i have also changed the arrows so they look a bit nicer.
I could change the cars skin, but I preffered keep the game in its original format ...also, i was out of time... :-)

Ice Age 2
Just changed the splash bakground to feet 208x208 screen...

Alpha wing 2
Changed the ingame music theme

The snake 3d didn't work for me :-( , it says "bla bla bla ... nullpointer exception"

Mate, if I said it works fine on my 6230i, it's because I played it. I never upload a game without having tried it first. I have no idea why it doesn't work on 6280, maybe this game has a specific version for 6280 because of the different screen size or something. There wasn't any jad file.

I agree, I'm also not that fond of the controls in V-Rally 3D ... I'm particularly disappointed with that :(

Well, boyz, after playing the V-Rally 3D championship 1 mode about 9-10 times one after another I eventually succeed and got fast enough to go to championship 2 mode. Unfortunately, it just said, the car has been tuned up, but it just looks the same. May be it's a bit faster, but with that on board is even harder to control, so... Not really playable, is it?! Whatever... Nice try Atary!

a few days later I'm on 3rd level championship... Still not promising, I don't know why I still play this game...

Here is my current favorite Sudoku game for the 6230i.
My previous favorite was the obvious Gameloft Platinum Sudoku which is extremelly polished and has plenty more options, but SuperDoku has a bigger display/font which provides a much easier viewing/reading and the controls are also easier, faster and handier, at least for my personal taste.

Another plus (although not nearly as relevant as the previous ones) is that SuperDoku is only 87 Kb saving about 131 precious Kb when compared with Gameloft's (201 Kb) leaving space for other games

Enjoy :)

I agree bobscure, 6230i memory games/applic. is only 1.5 mb. Sometimes you "install" and memory is full, so appears grayshaded. Another times you (an incoming call sometimes) interrupt transfer. Try and empty memory...

Dictionnary definition of share: To partake of, use, experience, occupy, or enjoy with others.
I-Phone's defintion (in my view): Put & Take, Give & Get... (which is not so different from the first...)

Here you go maniacs... Nice little cool 3D game in the hot summer days for all of you:
Torino 2006

Torino 2006 is the Official Mobile Phone Game of the Olympic Winter Games by I-play
The game features four of the signature Olympic Winter Games disciplines: Downhill Skiing, Ski Jumping, Curling and Bobsleigh.
The game's Downhill Skiing discipline, reflecting the most spectacular Alpine Skiing specialty, involves launching the skier in the 'tucked up' position to maximize aerodynamics and efficiency; choosing the shortest trajectories; and flowing through the course as smoothly as possible to maintain maximum velocity, taking care to avoid time penalties due to missed gates.

In Ski Jumping, perfecting the launch is critical in order to get maximum height and distance. Players must fight the wind to keep from veering off-course and focus on the distant landing point. From the heights of the ski-jump, players defy the laws of gravity, using power, precision and nerves of steel. The smallest of errors will compromise the entire jump.

With Curling, the focus is to deliver a smooth granite stone across an expanse of ice with pinpoint precision to the target. To get your player's team closer to the centre of the target than the opposing team, all four team members must be involved in every shot, with one carefully delivering the stone, two sweeping the ice in front of it to regulate friction, and the skipper calling the strategy.

In the mobile phone game's Bobsleigh discipline, players must approach the curves just right in order to maintain maximum velocity and score the fastest times! The four-person team pushes the sled for 50 meters - a distance which must be covered in less than 6 seconds to reach a speed of over 40 km/h - before jumping into the sled and reaching for gold. The trick is to handle the course's many banked curves as smoothly as possible, as each bump against the iced walls adds fractions of a second to the run time.

ENJOY! No need to thanks me with the repute button:iphonepost:

China Wireless Arts Demon's Castle

In the middle of the 17th century, the brutal Dracula governed Romania. Under Dracula's government, people all lived in dread and fear. But a young man brought a gleam of hope; his name was Orlando, the son of Dracula. He knew of his father's deviltry, and felt the compassion for humanity. Thus, the righteous Orlando decided to help the poor people of Romania cast off his father's rule. He was the hope of his people.

An amazing fantastic action game now comes on your mobile phone! The hundreds of years hatred between Dracula family and Human broke out again. Our hero, a vampire hunter, has four special skills, five primary and secondary weapons, and even could level up 10 times. He should fight a life-and-death battle against many kinds of evil monsters and powerful bosses in the charnel castle which has seventy zones. When the human hero faces his vampire queen mother, what a cruel combat would it be.

Enjoy Guys!

Virtual Babe - Yasmine

The virtual babe is a tamagotchi for your cell phone. Yasmine lives in your mobile phone. You have to treat her very well otherwise she might leave you. The status display shows you what your babe wants. You need a big love value to play with your sexy babe. Give her delicious food and nice presents to increase your love value. Try the right mixture of both to please her. Save your game if you need a break...

It works on my 6230i, v3.70, and... waiting for your coments...

try having your 6230i flashed to a newer version. V 03.40 and below versions tend to have problems with sound. just dont forget to back-up all your phone data cuz flashing will delete all your files in your phone. and BTW can we move this topic to a new thread? this thread is for posting games.

"Slam Street™ 3D" offers full 3D slam dunk action stacked with crazy jams, and cinematic playbacks.

Instead of a one-on-one style game which is very difficult to control well on a phone, Bight Interactive has opted for a good old slam dunk competition. The object is simple. Out jam, and out score your opponent.

There are some communities which are exceptions to the general rule of everyone beeing a pure leecher, but usually they are well kept secrets ;)

This is the only way leechers will learn:
communities going private to valued members only and contributors will stop posting in public forums.

But i think, lots of people have in their mind, that u did a great job here, and its obvious, that most newcomer don't know the repute-function. Count the 'Thank you'-Posts in the Threads (if the aren't deleted by the mods ^^) and u'll see, the comm. isn't that bad.

The only way to get thanked here is the reputation system, and if any [LEECH] took only the initiative to push the http://www.iphone-forum.org/images/buttons/big-rep.gif button, we had never to read such kind of bad news...this is a proof on how people can be just stupid

Lets take a break from the bad news...

CITY BUILDER

City Builder is a strategy game for mobile phones that puts you in a seat of your favorite mayor. Entering your name and name of the city you want to build the game will start. The game has different buildings you can build: bus station, park, entertainment, villa, house, business center, business building, light industry, heavy industry, hi-tech industry, water reservoir, power station, police station, hospital and school. Each building type has its own price, build time, revenue…
City income is controlled by tax rate which can be changed from 3% to 25%. As a good mayor you have to watch for the citizen unrest and lower the taxes sometimes. Of course, police will help you to create a peaceful place, but not always.
Your citizens may be ill and spread diseases, so help them building hospitals. Educated people will bring your city more income, so invest in your future by building schools all around the city.
Create buildings wisely and allow your people to communicate. Roads will help your people to easily travel from home to work and malls on the weekends. Remember, house with a good driveway is worth more that a house without one.
Of course, every building needs power station and water to function properly. Select positions of power stations and water reservoirs and create industry around them to get higher production rate. But, watch out for the pollution, it will take your funds away because it needs to be cleaned.
Some of the buildings will collapse after 30 years of use, so be prepared for some more costs.

The moral of the story is... value conrtibutors and dont take them for granted. This one's for you FC.
Enjoy Guys! :)

I've seen some positive attitudes after my announcement the other day, so I will stick around provided everyone keeps the same attitude of at least hitting that repute button after downloading something good.

If I see that things go back to what they were, I'll simply go away and this time I won't even bother to write about it. I'm not saying this to sound as a threat, but mostly because I hang around in a couple of private places (that will remain private) where the vast majoritity of users behaves properly, so it's not as if I need to be here. I'm here because I like the forum and hopefully the n6230i user community will improve their behaviour.

Anyway, enough of this already. Here's an excellent game to start things again:

Sim Town
"Sim Town, a simulation to fulfill your dream of being a city planner, a tycoon or even a governor! From major architectural decisions to the development of lucrative entertainment zones, you can have a say today! Sim Town incorporates a new control scheme with vivid colour effects, as well as day and night settings. There are various kinds of buildings ranging from entertainment and shopping to dining that you can build. Remember to listen to your citizens and keep them happy by providing them a balanced, yet fabulous environment with adequate infrastructure."

Fantasy Battle Revenge

Fantasy Battle: Revenge reveals the dark truth, and as a villain-side play, of the Fantasy Battle series. Hatred, betrayal, and misery escalate into bitterness and anger. A battle, shedding endless blood and eradication of lives, is drawn upon the camp of Royal Troops by Clay the evil Wizard. More than a game, it is the revelation of truth underneath an evil heart of misery.

Fantasy Battle: Revenge tells the other side by the same token of Fantasy Battle. You will take up the role of the evil wizard against the camp of Royal Troops this time. It is a turn-based strategy game between an evil wizard and Saintly Priest in Fantasy World.

There are seven kinds of warriors with various spells and strengths. All you need is to manage legions of warriors in battles strategically in nine levels of battles.

Clay was a talented wizard in Fantasy World. His mother was accused of being a witch, after she killed the former Saintly Priest and hence was burned to ashes. Clay no longer believed in the reign of Fantasy World and turned himself into a demon with decent power. He declared war on Fantasy World but it was defeated quickly by the Royal troops.

Giana Sisters

The story, is, shall we say, interesting. Players play as either Giana or Maria, two sisters who, after falling asleep, are sucked into a fantasy dream world. A dream world involving strangely Mario-like monsters, big walls to bash and electrifying powerups. Someone’s being playing too many video games! The thing is, the girls can’t escape from the dream world until they find a giant diamond, and so the quest begins. Players run, jump and shoot “dream bubbles” until they reach the cave at the end of the level. It contains just like you’d expect it to, with the 4 and 6 keys being used to move left and right, 2 to jump, and 5 to shoot, if you get the appropriate powerup.

Giana Sisters plays like a classic platforming game, which basically hinders it's longetivity. Yes, there are many stages, but playing the same sort of levels over and over again gets pretty old. This is the modern era, where are all the mini-games, the multiplayer? It makes me feel that the developer played it safe, and kept truthful to the original Giana Sisters. As good a game as it was, it could definitely do with a modern touch.
:butthead:
The game’s graphics are retro 8 bit. This adds to the game’s simplistic appeal, but as a result doesn’t really aim to wow. Everything animates well, and the frame rate is very solid. It might’ve been nice to have some modern touches, to add some style, but for now we’re stuck with a nice but unspectacular rendering of an 80’s game. The sound is quite outstanding, the retro themes playing in very nicely with the rest of the game.
:butthead:
The Great Giana Sisters is a faithful port of a great game. As unimaginative and unoriginal as it is, no lack of modern graphics can mask good old fun. And isn’t that what mobile gaming is all about?

Enjoyyyyyrrrr........

Overall, Puzzle World is a great choice for those who like the idea a good little puzzle game with levels that aren't overly taxing on the brain but with a bit of a challenge all the same. For anyone else, I do recommend this game, as long as you don't get frustrated too easily! Good fun for those who want to exercise their minds.

Hi guys! And special greetings to Manolinp. Fastcharly and Bobscure. These guys are the best contributors and very nice people. they deserve recognition (reputation) :)

Thorgal, the hero of a fantasy world built around Nordic mythology, is faced with a formidable task. When the god Loki kidnaps his family with the help of a seven-headed serpent, Thorgal becomes part of a perpetual battle for divine domination, a battle where heroes are but tools in the hands of vengeful gods. This is the start of a race against time and Thorgal's battle for the liberation of his family.

Yet Thorgal also has mighty allies from Asgard, with Thor, Frey, Freya and Odin always by his side with their advice. The battle begins in the depths of Asgard, the dominion of the evil god Loki. An adventure through infinite mazes, caves full of treacherous traps and mighty temples, the home of Loki's demonic army, is a battle for life and death. Thorgal's path leads to the very heart of the kingdom an in a battle of unequals he has to defeat Loki and liberate his wife Aaricia and son Jolan. But this is just the beginning of the epic adventure…

A rich gaming environment inspired by Nordic mythology is the scene of an adventure packed with battles against various enemies, finding passageways and avoiding deadly traps. The action goes on through eleven comprehensive stages that span various part of Loki’s kingdom. Subterranean caves full of lethal traps and volcanic gorges teeming with treacherous creatures are interlaced with labyrinths where switches and transitions prevent simple advancement. Gigantic temples populated by giants who swing the axe as easily as the mammoth hammer are an arena where quick reflexes are the only way to win. In the end, Thorgal faces the formidable task of liberating his family and taking on Loki.

Throughout the eleven stages Thorgal gets guidance from Odin, who takes on the form of a talkative crow. He is also helped by other gods whose gifts restore his energy or confer on him an extra life. If Thorgal finds the key, he is given passage to a bonus level where Thor gives him magical weaponry and heroic capabilities.

A gang of bad guys terrorizes townspeople in this city, and the only way to stop these bandits is to kill them. The task is hard but two Mexicans are going to help you. Take your favourite gun and may luck be on your side.

Enjoy it again......

Connexions is a game of skill and wit that will lead you from Beginner status to Genius. Practice as the patterns appear before your eyes.

Someone says It´s a Mega-Game: Connexions is a frustratingly addictive game which takes 5 seconds to learn and many hours to play.

Arcade Puzzler - or casual brainteaser. Connexions is a maddeningly addictive game which takes 5 seconds to learn... but one in which you will spend many many hours playing! Connect the sets of colored blocks without crossing over your other connections... sounds easy... sometimes it is, but often it's not!

Enjoy it!

To the "lone riders" :) fastcharly, bobscure and manolinp! may our tribe increase!

BeBall - A Space Odyssey is a very addictive arcade game served by a simple gameplay. The player controls a ball able of 3D moves along an accidented road. The goal is to reach the end of the road in a minimal time.

Travel along 8 levels from Earth to the end of the universe ! Basically you have to dodge the obstacles by jumping. Some bonus can be caught on the road to help you in this mystical quest.

A super fast gameplay gives an amazing impression of speed. A lot of bonus like "Turbo" will increase further your sensations while playing BeBall. Controls are very handy. High scores are saved for each track, introducing competition and motivation among players.

Finally, BeBall: A Space Odyssey is an interplanetary cross between "Marble Madness", "Super Mario Kart", and any good racing game.

Game Review
Have You paid your debt to the Family?

Dead bodies lying everywhere. Cars exploding all across town. The police are dumbfounded but one thing’s for sure – the family has had a hand in all the occurrences.

Your character is Joe, a European immigrant in search of a ‘family’ to adopt him. What better place to go to than to New York where the mafia thrives. Your ‘family’ is in constant conflict with rival gangs so the tension is always thick. Striving to work your way up the ‘family’ ladder gets you involved in numerous risky missions and places the reputation of the ‘family’ in your hands.

You receive tasks which you must complete in order for Joe to climb the ladder to success. Most missions involve killing at least one person. You must make your way around town using an in-game map as well as using your compass which always points to your objective’s direction. Weapons aren’t plentiful in this game but there are other surprises such as medikits and hidden items across town. Even cops roam the city and exposing yourself will only attract more unnecessary attention.

The game has an isometric perspective and graphics are decent. Music is pleasantly atmospheric and really enhances game play as most J2ME games these days have little or no music at all. Game play is also intriguing as there are many things you can learn such as hiding your weapon in the presence of cops so as to avoid being arrested. The developers have really gone all out on this game to make its replayability high. However, the levels itself aren’t really all that hard and most levels involve just running around shooting other gangsters which gets old pretty quick. All in all, Mafia Wars is a good game, but the replayability value is not very high.

Zoo Tycoon 2

Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile is loosely based on the recently released PC game of similar name. But it does have several in-game hooks to the PC version which are sure to pique the interest of the franchises multitude of fans. After completing some tasks in Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile, players receive game codes that can be pumped into the PC game to unlock exclusive bonus content.

The goal of Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile is to build and maintain a successful zoo venture by creating exciting animal exhibits. You can choose the type of terrain in each attraction as well as the type of animal. Success is assured not by just creating popular attractions, but making sure that guests remain safe from harm -- and that the animals are properly amused with objects like colorful balls.

There are two gameplay modes in Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile. The first mode is the tycoon game, where the bottom line is all that matters. (Well, and keeping animals happy.) The second mode is a photograph mini-game where you can take snapshots of your happy zoo crew and upload them to the internet.

ps nice post gecce thanks! :)

An all-time PC classic,
Sensible Soccer
Genre : Sports
Audience : All
Developer : Tower Studios

http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/6796/sensiblesoccerkd7.gif

Game Review
Aside from the Fifa football brand, Sensible Soccer has got to be one of the most famous football games ever produced in the history of football based video games. As a PC game, Sensible Soccer or Sensi as it is affectionally called by its many fans across continents is the most playable 2D game of ‘footie’ ever. Every iteration, except the final version has been a blockbuster on the video game sales charts. No surprise really that the final version of Sensible Soccer to be released flopped both in the critics department and the sales chart, departing from the tried and true gameplay pioneered by Sensible Soccer for a much hyped 3D engine which effectively killed the franchise.

Throughout the years from the demise of the franchise, Sensible Soccer fans all over the World have been asking Codemasters to produce a version of the game which basically retains the look and feel of the original game and release it to the Sensible Soccer starved crowd. Now it seems like all that fan buzz, petitions, and letter requests finally got to somebody because thanks to Kuju Wireless, the Sensible Soccer brand is experiencing a revival. Almost everything about the original Sensible Soccer game was retained in the amazing mobile game port. So how does it stack up against the ultra modern Fifa 2005? Mobile Sensible Soccer, not surprisingly, is able to hold its own against its high-tech competitor.

The graphics of Sensible Soccer is a near mirror clone of the much beloved original. You’ll see tiny pixilated men running around in their footie kits - all in glorious 2D. The pitch is wide and is presented in such a way that you can see all the action in order to better organize either your attack or your defense. You see tiny numbers on top of the little pixilated men that you control which guides you on which button to press in conjunction with the pass button in order to pass them the ball. The colors are good and the animations are smooth and fast.

Sensible Soccer games aside, the franchise is known for having well executed controls. In this case, no exceptions were made. Kudos to the development team for sticking with the tried and tested control scheme from those bygone days instead of experimenting with some new fangled control scheme that will prove to be unwieldy and probably sabotage this comeback by the Sensible Soccer franchise. ‘Footie’ games will require a good, if not excellent control scheme and in this regard Kuju Wirelss did a good job. Sensible Soccer still remains as one of the most playable 2D soccer games, even on the phone.

The gameplay is the same as the original Sensible Soccer. You pass the ball around the pitch, and wait for an opening and then volley the ball into the net. The gameplay is not only simple and fun, but it is also “sensi-ble”. People expecting fancy ‘footie’ moves should go look at other games because Sensible Soccer Mobile is about simplicity and getting the ball to the net in the easiest and least complicated way possible.

I’m a big Sensible Soccer fan from way way back. However, compared to the latest ‘footie’ games which are being released in the mobile phone market, I feel that Sensible Soccer Mobile should have invested more in bringing some high-end production values to the consumers. Don’t get me wrong, Sensible Soccer Mobile is still a good ‘footie’ game, I just wish that more was done to enhance the game further. In these days of name recognition both on and off the football pitch, it would be nice to see a Sensible Soccer game which contains fully licensed leagues and player names. The heart of Sensible Soccer lives on in this game, and can still be fun. However being limited to national leagues with a bunch of generic players can get old pretty quick. Player descriptions are all you’re going to get in this game. You won’t be seeing the likes of Zidane, Beckham, Figo, Raul, Rooney, Robben and Giggs in this game. I’ve always believed that presentation should play second fiddle to gameplay, but in a game of this stature, more investment should have been made to make the final presentation world class.

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense soccer game that plays like Roy Keane then this is your ticket. However if you’re looking for flash and glamour, or just plain want to play Ronaldinho, Sensible Soccer Mobile isn’t really going to butter your bread. Still though, if you’re willing to look beyond the lack of both the big names and the latest cutting edge graphics, Sensible Soccer Mobile is a good enough game of football.

G-Unit Free Yayo

It's the not too distant future. The digital music scene of 2006 has long been forgotten. OMNISOFTFLIFECORP Inc. (O-CORP) controls all of the world’s media output and with it the world’s population through the enforced consumption of O-POP. G-Unit is trying to break their hold by creating illicit music and distributing it through the Net and outlaw radio stations.

O-CORP has responded by capturing Tony Yayo. He has the access codes to G-Unit's pirate media network. You must help 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck free Yayo and the world from the dominance of O-CORP.

Features :

* Easy-to-play, fast-paced arcade shooter

* Unique comic-book look and futuristic setting

* Hidden bonus mini-game content

* Network leader boards allow players around the world to compete

* Exclusive “unlockable” G-Unit ringtone and wallpaper content rewards

Rovio Mobile Wolf Moon

First, find three werewolf totems, take them inside a silver mine at Mount Argent and blow up the mine. All this must be done before the next Full Moon.

Then, dig up the mass graves in the woods to find evidence of O'brien's complicity in the hiker killings. That should divert attention away from your actions.

Features :

* If you don't want to fight, try giving the enemy something else they might like.

* Daylight and open spaces favour ranged combat and vice versa

* The more north you go, the more dangerous it gets

* Animals do not cross water

* Remember to rest as it also saves the game

* Somebody dropped a bottle of moonshine into the river. It floated downstream.

* Driving the car does not take up any game time and enemies can't keep up with it.

* If you are in place with fire, burning a werewolf skull might reveal some secrets.

* Moving in woods is hard but that is why people hide things in there.

* If you kill enough werewolves, the totems will be unguarded.

Grubby 3D:
“Grubby 3D” is a 3D puzzle game in which the player has to drive a funny grub and eat all parasites that infest various vegetables and fruit, while preventing him from colliding either against an ugly and bad grub and his own body. Every time our grub eats a parasite his body grows longer of a given length, thus making the game harder.

Fruit and vegetables are shown under real 3D perspective and rotate so as to keep the head of the grub in the centre of the screen.

Fruit and vegetables can have holes, to be used as tunnels by the grub, and various bonuses and power-ups scattered on their surface.

Every level is featured with a different fruit or vegetable, the shape of which raises a different level of difficulty and requires a proper strategy. The game scenery is full of colourful and funny elements; joyful music and sound effects accompany and emphasize all game events.

Gorillaz Entertainment System (GES) is the world’s first mobile game to be designed and created in conjunction with Gorillaz. GES features four easy-to-grasp character-based games, each with their own individual gameplay and style. The games are a unique combination of classic 'arcade’ style games and contemporary Gorillaz artwork. Block and dodge dangerous bouncing balls with Noodle, stuff Russel’s face with as many cookies as you can in the time allowed, whack 2D’s punching bag as far as possible, and smash up blocks using only Murdoc’s reinforced codpiece. Collect points and goodies and make the high score list! Gorillaz drummer Russel is a big fan: "Listen up. These Gorillaz mobile games are sizzlingly hot. You can play as all four of us, or concentrate on just the Gorillaz 'Big Russel' game."

The Village

http://205.234.133.26/images/screens/89840c.gif

Year 1 AD. A group of colonists looking for a place where to settle down, with you as their chosen leader. However, ruling isn’t an easy task and if you fail, your followers will not show mercy. Take good care of your people in The Village and make wise choices to make your Village prosper. You are the mayor of a newly founded village. It is up to you to wisely guide the development and growth of the village by choosing what to produce and build, and where. Your main goal is to keep the villagers happy, if possible. Happy villagers will want to keep you as mayor, and the chance of new people moving into the village increases. Discontented people will start leaving the village, or may even depose you and choose another mayor. A mayor is chosen for five years at a time. After that time has passed, everybody will gather in a great meeting to reflect on the past and decide whether to keep the mayor for another five years or to choose a new one. They will also give you an assessment of your achievements, along with a score. If you score well, you’ll get your name on the high score list! And even better, if the villagers are happy with your lead, they will want you to continue as mayor!

Game Review
Fresh off the heels of a successful campaign last year with Elections 2004, Lunagames has another management sim ready to start the new year. Being a management sim specialist on the mobile phone gaming market, I had high expectations of Lunagames’ Truck Tycoon and after playing the game, I find myself pretty well satisfied with their latest offering.

In Truck Tycoon, you’ll find yourself at the helm of a fledgling trucking empire as you strive to achieve the goals set before you in several scenarios. For the most part, Truck Tycoon is pretty much influenced by such classic games as Industry Giant, Railroad Tycoon, and Transport Tycoon. Since I love playing those three above mentioned games, I didn’t have any qualms about diving head first into Truck Tycoon. After playing the game, I have to hand it to Lunagames for pulling off a good first time effort to port those classic gaming elements for the mobile phone.

The objective in every scenario you play in Truck Tycoon is to achieve the stated goal within a set amount of time. It doesn’t matter what the goal is, because gameplay is boiled down to a simple and yet addictive formula: you select a natural resource, set up a factory, connect the natural resource to the factory and then sell off the goods. Despite the simplicity of the game, it has a lot of replay value within the package. The game comes with 8 challenging scenarios and a sandbox mode and it’ll take you at least a couple of hours to finish the 8 challenge scenarios and on top of that the sandbox mode offers unlimited gameplay.

Truck Tycoon is essentially a harvest, build, convert and then deliver type of game. It never assumes to be more than that and it doesn’t make apologies for the simplicity of the game mechanics. I love the game for the fact that the core elements of a tycoon game are alive and present within it. You don’t need an MBA degree in order to make sense of how to accomplish your goals in Truck Tycoon. All you’ll need to do well in the game is some common sense and a willingness to experiment every now and then.

Graphically, I like the way the game looks. The images are nice and cleanly done. You won’t see any stray pixels nor mismatched coloring as you play the game. Everything about the game from the graphics to the sounds and presentation is well done. The help system is very adequate and a quick glance through will soon allow you to be on your way in playing the game. I like the fact that you can control the way information is presented via the scrolling mechanism in the help file but it is unfortunate that you can’t do the same thing when it comes to the pre-start scenario briefing. I have to wait for the briefing to scroll at least 3 to 4 times before I can fully read everything.

There is a lot of gameplay within this game. From watching your city grow as you help build up the population to ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to the population by a well thought out transportation plan, this game has helped keep me entertained on the long bus ride to and from work.

Overall I’d recommend this game for anyone looking to experience a well designed tycoon game on the mobile phone. In the great tradition of the pioneering spirit of Rail Road Tycoon, and Industry Giant, this game delivers.

Tour de France

Game Review
For once, a great branded mobile game.

They may not have the Olympics but at least they have Le Tour de France. A timely release from In-Fusio and Living Mobile and it looks like it hasn't been rushed out. Decent planning and testing has actually gone into a branded game and it shows.

The game closely follows the real life Tour de France. There are over 20 stages including time trials, mountain races and team races. When you start the tour you can choose your team and main cyclist. The best around team is the Spanish although do look out for Lance Strongfoot from the USA! Each team has different weaknesses/strengths relating to speed, handling, etc.

On to the race itself. The graphics are fairly basic but the gameplay, as a result, is fast. The background is pretty similar for all the stages. The race is a pure horizontal scolling affair. There are various obstacles to avoid but also plenty of power ups to cycle over. The first aid bag replenishes your energy bar and the 'S' gives you a quick boost.

To control the bike, press 6 to accelerate; 2 and 8 move your bike to the top or bottom of the road. The easiest way is to use 6 combined with up/down on the D pad. There is a health bar in the corner whichnaturally goes down as you accelerate. If it drops too low, just stop accelerating for a bit and it will build up. Always look out for health power ups so you can keep your momentum going. Each stage takes a maximum of a couple of minutes and it auto saves after each stage. Its very easy to play the whole tour over a number of days. Keeping in line with the real event, the yellow, green and checked jerseys are up for grabs for that added authenticity.

Most of the mountain stages are team events were you race with two of your team mates. The team mates cycle behind the front man. When the lead cyclist starts to fade, press 5 to let him drop to the back. Be careful on your timing and try to avoid doing it up hill.

Each race is timed and the cumulative times are added to find the overall winner of the yellow jersey. Some of the stages have checkpoints and the fatest racers can gain points for this. If you come top in this competition, you win the green jersey. The red checked jersey is worn by the best climber.

If you do not fancy a gruelling tour then there is a 'quick start' option. A randomly chosen stage and a randomly chosen cyclist gives the game some variation. Also gives you a chance to try out some of the more dodgier riders.

Pros
Very good licenced game

Cons
Basic graphics
Easy to overwrite existing Tour

Game Features
Sound
Help
Save Option
Highscore
Suspend/Resume
Bus/Tube Friendly

Rating/100
Graphics: 70
