I haven't answered any questions yet. (almost an year now)
I thought you people were smart enough Homo sapiens to figure it out yourself, one way or the other.I did it that way.:axe:
mRouter is the proprietary name give to Nokia's data communication interface.
Those using Windows Mobile smartphones/Pocket PCs have something called ActiveSync for this purpose. They should check that out.
Those of you using mobile devices other than Nokia's S60 will probably not get desired results.
Those of you who are using Nokia S60, you can get mRouter on Nokia's site or an older version on the CD you got with your mobile. This Post is meant for them.
Dunno whether newer generation phones from Nokia will benefit. Let's hope they do. Post whether this guide worked or not anyway.
Some members have reported using MMS over internet using the mobile connected to PC's internet. That is why this post is so significant. I confess of never having used this method for that purpose. Though it will be a delight to learn if it did work and with what change/circumstances.
If you have pc-suite installed and configured. You can also browse the web from your Services app when you are connected.
All the methods confirmed working on my 6600 and N-Gage QD using the exact methods posted.
Please post which methods work on other models to help other members find out.:butthead:
PS. I got no REP for this post. Doesn't mean I am pleading for it.
I want Respect on the Forum and not REP.
You can tell from my low post count. But I have always been a good member and will continue to be so.
