Send SMS to individuals or groups at scheduled time/date without crashing/freezing your phone
Overview
SMS Planner: Ability to send individual or group SMS at schedule times.

This first of its kind solution for mobile industry now gives end users the ability to send timed messages to several users.

Easy to use yet powerful application lets you send SMS to a group or individual at a scheduled time. Simply select the "Send Later" option when done typing the SMS, enter the desired time and date for sending...thats it. The SMS will be sent automatically at the specified time without any user interaction, provided the phone is switched on.

This application comes with an in-built SMS editor that can be used to send SMS or save SMS as drafts for later editing. You can also import messages from System Draft or templates for editing and sending.

You have complete control on your SMS before it leaves your phone. Incase you wish to edit this SMS before sending it, then goto the Scheduled SMS folder, to edit, delete, save or send the SMS (now or later).

You also have the option of selecting multiple recipients from the Phonebook and groups. This application has been tested heavily to ensure that it does not crash your phone in any circumstance.

You can send the SMS to one or a thousand recipients without crashing or freezing your phone, guaranteed!

The application will start automatically every time the phone is switched on, eliminating the need to activate the product manually.

Features of this version are:

Built in SMS editor for sending SMS now, scheduling to send later or to save as drafts.

Ability to modify waiting SMS.

Add recipients directly from Address Book or/and groups.

Send as many SMSes at one go without fear of crashing the phone.

Runs in real background mode.

Is this capable of recurring sending of scheduled SMS, like hourly, daily, weekly, etc.

Is there an SMS app that can do this? Been looking for such for a long long time. Thanks.

Not so good in my opinion, it never worked on my 6630.
Anyway, go to folder C:\System\recogs and delete a file called Gurpreet.mdl. This should solve the autostart problem... cheers!

Problem solved!!!!! Thank you daddyfatsax! I LOVE YOU!!!! Haha...

This is the best application I've found so far for scheduling an sms coz it doesn't keep any sms in your "outbox" and you won't see there is any sms waiting to be sent. Don't know about others, but to me, I don't like to see anything (including the outbox indicator) when my phone is on standby...

CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as daddyfatsax mentioned, doesn't work for 6630 and 6680 too, infact no sms scheduling applications(SMS Timer, SMS Scheduler, SMS Planner) have worked reliably on my 6680, all fails sometimes( when you really wanted them too work)...but i guess it is working fine for symbian OS6.

Sms scheduler is much better. The schedule sms function is just like a factory-built func . Scheduled sms to be stored in system outbox.

P/s: All Aglaya app. works fine but always non-satisfied (just my opinion)
